Well, it's good I haven't finished playing just yet!
Shame no new hairstyles though. And no mentioning the other potential news they had? Heard in another video that this patch was made by a different company or something who was signed on to potentially work on more stuff for the game so we may see more patches sometime?
Just when I thought I was done with the game and they drop this dope update, I'm particularly excited for the car feature for my Corpo V 😎
I haven't played since Phantom Liberty, so I'm excited to try the update out!

They explicitly said colour schemes work only for player-owned cars in the update presentation yesterday. Autofixer now has a new icon that shows you which cars have the new option, and it is not only Rayfield, but other makes as well. You can also scan paint jobs from other cars and then apply them to your own, so if you see a cool looking car, you can make yours just like it 🙂 It is the latest Kiroshi tech in action, apparently.
Something Mr Hulthen did not mention – this has an actual gameplay effect, as changing your paint job will confuse the NCPD when they chase you, and will reduce your wanted level faster. If you get very close to an NCPD unit, they will still recognise you. However, you could go into a side alley, change your paint job, and then have much more leeway in evading an NCPD pursuit, which is a very nice touch, in my opinion.
IMHO Johnny riding with you should be on the base game regarding what your status with him. But kudos to Virtuos Studios. I hope they'll see the value of modders (behind the scenes) and they'll integrate them within their workforce/make/have jobs. Kudos to them!
I was kinda hoping for alternate looks for Judy and Panam, in The Witcher 3, we got it for Triss, Yen while Cyberpunk only gives us a different look for Johnny who you wont see nearly as much
Such a nice update. Especially for console folks who can’t download any mods. I can’t believe some people were complaining about the update…just ungrateful imo. The game is 4 yrs old

I love this game. Even just saeeing footage of it makes me want to play again.
Style over substance sounded great – until the pink and neon colours started distracting from combat – and before 2.0 you looked like a clown. Photo mode? No self-respecting merc cares about that! The cars are welcome, but wished there were gameplay improvements instead. A reinforcement system akin to the old great Vehicle Combat mod would've made the game near perfect.
It's kinda wild for a 4 year old single player game to still receive content updates like. Just goes to show that CDPR isn't shitting us when they say this game has been and still is a labor of love on their part.
I really wish I could customise some of the nomad cars like the Thorton Colby models. It sucks that the nomads are all about vehicles the most out of the lifepaths but the most nomad-esque cars don't have the customisation features.
Why did you delete your dragon age video?
I play CP on the PS4 Pro. It has always run well there (I drop most bells+whistles regardless). Got basic QOL stuff for Phantom Liberty, but not the character skill / ability rework, or the setting / scenarios. It'll be interesting to see how much of this new update 'translates" to my system.
Despite all the stuff I miss out on at this stage, I still love this game, btw. 🙂
Still waiting for the game to be a quarter of what they promised…
