My quest gltiches after I found the van, it keeps telling me to neutralize the attackers
this is one of the best and most shocking quests in the game in my opinion
I came looking for the different options because i chose to tell him the truth and was sent the message from his wife, and later from her husbad, and was wonderign if i could continue talking to them if chose not to tell him the truth but good to know that no matter what i picked, they would have still stoped talking to me. Really liked the mission and wasnt ready to stop doing it ones it did end.
I just finished I fought the law quest. Does your decisions in that quest affect if you start this quest or not?

i killed everyone in the area, and when i approach the car, i can't jack in! is this a bug? can someone help?

I’m confused AF! This video has you talking to him out side!? I’m in there home about to talk to them? What was played different? Why the different out come?
i Just finish this quest and i really really really hope the story doesn't end here. i wanna follow up with these people later on and try to find the truth.
bug report: examining the receiver out of order will prevent progression on the "follow the cables" objective.
Doing the mission now but at the section before meeting Mrs. Peralez at the ramen shop, the "Neutralize the attackers" objective won't complete, even after I've killed all the enemies..? Am I missing something?

One thing you missed is that if you climb up to the roof of the buildings immediately after chasing the van. You can then jump across to the top of the building in the far right corner from the entrance to that area the van you can actually catch one of the SSI guys trying to escape in an nearly invisible AV. If you kill and loot him he has an encrypted shard that you can decrypt for some more info about the orders of the SSI guys. Its much easier to see the AV at night when i did the mission but you can see it on the upper right building at the 18:58 mark. I also jumped on the av and rode it, it just flies around the corner before despawning, but it made for some cool photo modes screenshots👍
ummm I was on the way to Talk to Jefferson and got an "Unknown Caller" warning me to not tell him anything and that I am messing with the wrong ppl.
Anyone else get this call?

thanks, my quest was bugged at follow the cables so this guide helped me get it done without the yellow icon showing up on the map. was able to get it completed

I dont know how to get this quest to start for me, im worried im bugged :(, Ive complete life during wartime and am level 50 street cred, still no call!

I never got a call on my way to meet jefferson, and when i show up to the spot hes never there, nor is there a prompt to wait for him. Ive since dont every other mission, including all ncpd missions up untill the game warns you your at a point you cant go back from. And still no jefferson. It would appear i have no way to finish this on an otherwise 100% playthru

If they don’t continue this storyline in the dlc I’ll be disappointed, it involves the potential future mayor n mr blue eyes is clearly apart of it somehow just seems too big of a plotline too not expand on.
I think CDPR cut this storyline to reduce the game size and all, this story is interesting but no closure… Suxxx…
So if you decide to ignore the mysterious miscellaneous phonecall warning you about playing with fire… and you decide to go into the rabbit hole… and if you decide to tell the truth to jefferson, and decide to try to begin unlocking the whole conspiracy together with them, and try to begin to unravel more about the mysterious puppet masters who are controlling the minds of politicians………
Then just when the story is getting really juicy……
Jefferson walks away.
The quest ends.
His wife texts you to stay out of it, and blocks you.
"Mr Blue Eyes" NPC disappears after a while.
Nothing happens.
Thats it.
No more for you.

When the Van parks the driver and passenger get out and climb up to the roof where an invisible AV is waiting for them. I've killed them both and one drops a hackable shard that reveals they are aborting the mission and are supposed to kill themselves if captured. I've incapacitated them and sure enough they die anyway. I've jumped on the roof of the AV and it goes around the corner and despawns. Can't seem to kill it either.
The wording on this quest is stupid. It says "Find the transmission source" when it clearly wants you to find the receiver. I wasted about 20 mins scanning everything down in the apartment looking for a computer or something that was trasmitting.
