So are they gonna add actual physics? Like far cry 2 has. A game made in a fraction of the time and like 12 years ago? The longer I wait, the more i ask myself: what the hell did they do in 7 years?
I remember that miles talked about the wall running bit ahead of the release in the cyberpunk discord. It was after on of the night city events when he was answering questions in a voice channel and he used wall running as an example of how idas change during development and why some work and others don't, so it wasn't any news to me when the game came out and I do agree that the enviroments would have suffered if they implemented it.
Titan fall 2 still has the best wall running mechanics. I think the solution would be don't touch the levels design just add new walls at the locations and more enemies surrounding it to satisfy players.
replace wall 'running' with a wall 'jump' that lets you kick off like an extra double jump– make a legendary mod that freezes time at the moment of kickoff for up to 5 seconds; this would give some people a bit of verticality in their gunfights, and allow them to get off a quickhack. It would at least make the scenario in the original marketing video doable, and potentially viable without having to sacrifice artistic design and mapping of a whole lot of 'walkable' area– right?
In 25 seconds I legitimately just thought of 2 ways to have had wall running, even with the walls not being clean, and I'm not including a third way that I'm not happy with but a lot of gamers would have been cool with.
Can anyone explain to me how this could have cost $313 million? Regina "holo calls" cost too much? Car buying system? Maybe the water non-physics or wall running? I really don't know.
I'm with CDPR about the Takemura romance, it would make next to no sense for Takemura to romance V, their friendship is organic, I feel that depsite Takemura's character development his romance would feel forced.
The clips with wall running/climbing can be chalked up to marketing trying to get as many suckers as possible to buy the game they royally screwed up then couldn't be bothered to do right.
Regarding Paweł's comparison of Cyberpunk going completely silent for the last months and No Man's Sky doing the same in the first months after release: can this be interpreted as a confirmation that the company has got sincere plans of No Man's Sky'ing this game?

Wall running aside there's ton of promises that didn't make it to the game how they are gonna explain that
Sasko Twitch is basically the last thing keeping this alive
Damage has been done, all we can do now is wait and watch.

The voice actor of Goro Takemura even wants there to be a romance, hahaha.

Where is the Meredith Stout romance.
However you view Takemura – friend or foe – he has one of the most interesting character development over the arc of the storyline.
There go this clown using excuses

damn. post release Sasko hits different
Everyone is forgetting that CDPR started development of it in 2016 or so. The game wasn’t in development for 8 years, the IP was.
Games go through internal reboots all the time. Sometimes 2/3 times even.

I really hope it can.
Lol Pawel talking about how he has no knowledge or control over marketing and I'm like hehe neither did the actual marketing team
I didnt realize CDPR have "Quality Assurance" (tester team) for Cyberpunk 2077 until he mentioned in this video lol.
Wall running?!….How about fixing the broken traffic that just stops in the middle of the road and sits there!!!!.
I don't get his argument for wall running constraints
Build a simplified mesh around all those obstacles
Tight spots won't have smooth lines for wall running, but when you hit a corner, transition to a wall hang
The level designer should design levels
The player has a bunch of batman gadgets and abilities, and needs to adapt strategies to the situation
