  1. They had to make the AI dumb because it was too smart? Yeah, I'm calling b.s on that, as one thing gamers are always asking for, at least of places I go, is for good ai, something to keep you on tour toes, make you think & not just T-800 your way through the game.
As for a canon ending, hmm, I like to think the Star would be canon, as although the sun has 2 ways to get it, it seems easier in a way, there's less on the line, imho.
Lastly, I don't think CDPR will do ending dlc, even if they leave a canon ending ambiguous, as they'll face backlash for selling the ending of the game later, something a lot of companies get flack for, that being said, a V lives ending would be welcome, as I can't shake the feeling that Cyberpunk is to be a trilogy

  2. I think the AI stupidity goes beyond combat. Sure the (they have to make mistakes) is a nice excuse. However what about the driving, the walking on the street and all A.I do is walk aimlessly and or stayed drugged out in a corner.

The panam ending felt like the main one since it’s the most fleshed out lifepath (in my opinion)

  3. I was on stream, and it immediately got my attention when Paweł said about what ending is canonical "I'd prefer not to REVEAL anything YET". I think the fact that one of the paid DLC's is going to expand one of the endings is almost established at this point.

  4. "It's the easiest work, to make the AI extreme clever." So we opted to make them so ridiculously stupid that they can barely function in the game. Yes, I totally believe that they made the AI stupid so it was "fair" for the players, and because it was MORE difficult than making them "clever". Because that all makes perfect sense, right?

They weren't asking why you didn't make the AI so smart it was unfair, they asked why they're so inept that they barely present even a moderate challenge without massively hiking up their damage and health. That wasn't a design choice, that was being lazy, Pawel.

  5. Also, you mean the "best" ending, that is granted by taking the life path you clearly invested more time and content into was what the studio felt was the "canon ending"? Well, aren't I just shocked and amazed that the storyline path you clearly spent more time on was the one you guys considered to be the "real" progression of events. It's not like that kills any notion of player choice by giving us one ending that doesn't feel like a fail state and has more emotional beats and content in it compared to all the other routes we might take. Panam is such a forced relationship, that it may as well have been the only option available with how much they obviously pushed for it and clearly spent more time developing it.

On a stream, he's providing insight into where things went wrong, and the incorrect mindset that CDPR had while developing a game very clearly outside of their range of expertise and (more importantly) experience. They don't even have their ideas working towards the open-world and player choice notion as much as they have a story very clearly developed and then put everything else together after without not nearly as much thought or care. This is why this game feels so linear and has such strange design decisions compared to other open-world games.

  6. Why not use the watch dogs legion spider drone controls that would be a whole lot simpler there’s a lot of control from the watch dogs games they could have used for the game

  7. can someone explain what he meant with going with panama add a something
if they canonized any of the endings this will be very bad not only is this game already barebones when it comes to RPG element's but now they will officially end any player choice the game has left

  8. When you think about it, an ending where V lives is kind of required for large expansion content. Would be weird (and limiting) if all additional content had to be crammed in before the "point of no return" in the game.

  9. I hope there's no canonical ending, otherwise what's the point in multiple endings? It'll be Telltale Games all over again but with bugs instead of zombies.

  10. If they release a Crystal Palace DLC/Expansion. Hacking with the Flathead will make a lot of sense. That place has to have much better security than Konpeki Plaza. If not, I'll just do what I do best, use Sandevision, and outrun them.

  11. Half life 2 still has better AI for the combine than most games today. They used tactics and strategy to flank, shoot and move, etc. and when the captain died they would become disorganized.

  13. Cd made it clear that the player is forced to play with the character it created and the character it created is a V that only serves as a bridge for Silverhand's return. Cd was so slutty in this "freedom of chose" that if you choose another alternative unless let Silverhand take over the body, V dies (if not in the end, is in the post game). Not to mention that this condition is always remembered during the entire game. Its not difficult to guess which end is canon.

  14. I have about given up on this game. Each patch seems to make the game worse. Performance has taken a nose dive. I can't even access the in game menus (maps crafting ect) without the game going into a step above a slide show. Despite it was running smooth before hand. Also you don't have to make a AI so smart that it gives it a unfair advantage. You can still program it to not stop in the middle of the freeway. And program it to not have all NPC cars hitting the same guard rail in the same spot.

  15. My canon ending, V calls Panam, Rouge and Hanako and all team against Yorinobu. Saburo is downloaded into Yorinobu's body but V let's Johnny take control long enough to kill him again finally avenge Alt.

  16. “It’s our conscious decision not to do anything more..” Is he really a developer or just hired PR by CDPR…Is he not seen any game…This is why other dev put an Easy, Medium and Hard difficulty.. If u think the game or AI is hard to beat we have the ability to change the difficulty… This guy is insanely stupid…

  17. It's not that the enemy ai that's the problem the npc are just overall just stupid they have no interactions with no daily activities the problem with cyberpunk is they pitched us on all these features and it turns out it wasn't in the game I blame last gen consoles.
