Take a look at this video comparing the first ever gameplay demo of Cyberpunk 2077 with its final retail version captured on PC.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been a long time coming. Since the game was first revealed in 2012, we had to wait six years before we saw a 48-minute long work in progress gameplay video.

Now, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally been released, and we can compare those work in progress visuals to the finished product. In the above video we compare scenes from two key moments in the game, an early mission where V and their friend Jackie Welles are on a job to rescue a wealthy woman who has been kidnapped by scavengers, before visiting the Ripperdoc to enhance V’s cybernetics. Then, we take a look at a second mission, where V and Jackie met Militech agent Stout, and infiltrate the Maelstrom gang hideout to pick up an advanced bot for fixer Dexter DeShawn.

  1. tbf on the next gen consoles (even though they running the last gen versions) and PC I don't have a complaint about the visuals, they kept up to the demos, its more the world building, glitches and AI that are the let down. its just an empty shell of side missions and fake choices. and no idea why the xbox version has more crowds than the ps5 version. that sounds a bit of a cheeky marketing deal to me

  2. i see this and i want to cry that i can't play this amazing game right now because of the horrible performance issues!
why, just why would you release a game in that state and let down people who have been waiting for this game for a long time?
i just hope that in the next couple of months, they fix the problems on ps5 and let people enjoy the game, you know i've been watching the launch trailer for 100 times by now,

  3. Demo: on PS4 at 900p 20fps native, sped up to make it seem like 30fps
    Retail: on PC with 2x 3090 in SLI, 128GB DDR5 RAM, Intel i9 12900K; 1080p60 native
and all it took was 8 years, $300mil, and the reputation of a developer
