  1. Well i see the comment section already beat me too it but i too shall warn you, be careful to not let your save file go over 8mb cus for some reason the files go corrupt at that point, RIP all your progress. I HOPE that gets fixed QUICK!

  2. Even as a commentary to a flawed game such as Cyberpunk,
Even as a content in a repressive platform such as Youtube,

Arch still make the best reflective discussion on one of the best sidequests in the game.

  3. The more i look at this game the more i do not regret refunding it for now. Speaking on emergence i dont mind so much the whole using actors but its not a seller for me either. What Really breaks it for me is stutter of fps. And i get the whole cyberpunk thing but i feel there is a bit much of screen effects going on. Like if im in a gun fight i dont want a clusterfuck of effects and numbers. Feels more like im shooting a freakin pinata filled with *SpArKlEs*.

  4. Regarding the immersion/ V's character – I need to disagree with you. I [prefer games where I make my own story instead of playing someone ( your example) Geralt) story. What i really dislike in CP2077 is th8at instead of making it a nice RPG they made it into looter shooter with pseudo open world

  5. Asking for tech to stagnate isn't a good thing, not being able to run the game on the highest settings from a card released 4 years ago is reasonable. If you want to upgrade buy an rx 5700xt or 2070/2080 super.

  6. Arch, you knew there would be bugs, so you don't mind them, but you ALSO knew keannu would be in the game before you got it.
You were expecting him too. 🤷🏼‍♂️

  7. Arch: Tutorial? Skip. Dialogue? Skip.
Also Arch: Surprised when things happen that they would have teach your in Tutorials (enemies with skull above head are stronger then you and can break free from a sneak attack). I don't feel like the characters are particular interesting.

  8. can't choke guys with skulls above their heads, to high level. Also your sniper rifle and pistol are charge weapons… put a scope on the sniper as well. it shoots through freaking buildings.

  9. You know, sometimes arch is just a dumb-dumb.

He talks about not interesting characters with zero characters building while SKIPPING EVERY BLOODY DIALOGUE. Like wtf dude?

The sergui quest is just the worst example. Such a nice moment with a John Wick reference and he is like nah, not interesting.

It’s impossible to immerse yourself into the world or characters if you do not pay them any attention

  10. I really like the randomness (would have said diversity, but that means something else now) in people on the streets. Cyberpunk does that better than any other game. It is almost like no two are alike.
But Cyber implants seems to be a bit too random and not really related to their line of work or status.
I think there should have been a bigger line of visible limb arguments, they properly ran out of time.
Also there is not that disconnect with having a cyber limb, it just feels more like a skin then an actually artificial limb.
Hard to explain but there is not that disconnect to ones own character that is explained in Cyberpunk games.

  11. I know loads of people have said it and I have to agree this video seems to be a show of how arch is skipping all the moments where characters like Jonny are built up
Also the counter choke, guess someone didn’t play the tutorial

  12. Cyberpunk 2077 is an above average game.

And personally, the most bugs have realistically hindered me is sometimes when calling in a vehicle it spawns inside some other car and then they both kind of wreck each other when they physics kick in.

  13. The Corpo agent intro is somehow at the same time the most and least functional of the three.
It sets V well for a good reason to have a solid friendship with Jackie, as he helps you get your life together after you get fucked over by the corporation and basically get literally everything taken…
But does literally nothing to establish why you know Jackie in the first place and realistically the Corpo agent would never associate with someone like Jackie…

  14. why is this happening arch says, all the while having skipped the militech tutorial thing in the very beginning and thus ignoring 90% of all the combat mechanics information.

  15. Arch, I love you man, but Christ watching this is like renting a deamonet for a bachelors night.
You cant get invested in anything if all you do is skip dialogue. But its the complaining about it i hate the most.

  16. I don't mind the celebrity actors in Video Games, I didn't exactly pay much attention to the marketing of Cyberpunk so I don't know how deep in they went with Keanu Reeves but the actor should not be even attempted to be made into a selling point, it should be a "bonus" at most.
With a professional actor you do get the benefit that since it's basically what they do for a living so they're likely going to do an extremely great job at playing the part.

  17. It's become readily apparent that the reason why the game looks so much worse than the 47 minute gameplay reveal is a lot of the original developers that made the Witcher 3 so spectacular left the company due to severe crunch time/lack of over time pay and they had to hire a load of diversity hires. There are pictures showing the number of female/blue-haired weirdos/limp-wristed soy-boys in various pictures of their staff.

  18. Dex had a previous relationship (Working and maybe something more) of some sort with T-Bug and had met Jackie, you are the only one of the three he had never met, that's why Dex wanted to meet you, he was hiring your team because of his knowledge of Jackie and T-Bug, you where the wildcard, so he wanted to get a read off of you.

If use the blue options your character will ask questions to get more context on the situation, but I feel like most of that was spelled out without asking those questions. Maybe I am misremembering.

So far the story has been the strongest part of the game, so I feel like it's odd how you have missed so much of it…

  19. The interesting part is that the game does offer the ability/opportunity for the player to get the backstory and knowledge to play it, but does not force it. The player is free to skip them with all of the consequences. If you are not investing learning about the word you are in don't be surprised you are not understanding it, the game will not force it on you directly.

Regarding the combat part don't skip the tutorial at the beginning including the optional parts (I have almost did it and glad that I did not), just like the boxing (hand to hand combat) tutorial after the first mission. The game will not force you to do any of those, but not knowing those will make your experience less than optimal. Word word of Cyberpunk is pretty lethal especially if you are not using most of the combat mechanics.

  20. Regarding immersion – from the point where you meet the nomads and P (trying not to spoil) onwards, i was completely immersed, largely thanks to Keanu's stellar performance. I played the last 24 hours of that first playthrough in one sitting, got the, in my opinion, best ending, near the end the game brought me to tears multiple times and when I finished it, it was actually mentally shocking and confusing being thrust back into the real world after how immersed I was. Honestly, the most immersive and emotional gaming experience I've ever had, topping Mass Effect 2 by a large margin. But who knows, maybe that's just my f'd up brain 😀

Edit: Maybe Keanu being in the game doesn't bother me since the only Keanu movie I've seen is The Matrix

  21. Hardware issues? I'm using an FX8350 and RX580 with no issues. Admittedly, less shiny but that's fine, I turn most of that shit off anyway.
As others have said, stop skipping all the dialogue anmd you'll have a better idea what's going on.
Last comment, you obviously haven't seen Panam yet! Now there's a character model someone spent WAY too much time on!
