  1. Massive improvement from when I originally played it on my One X back in 2020, although I don't see the difference in ray tracing and performance mode so I'll stick to performance mode on my Series X 👍🏻

  2. The console versions are better than I expected considering this game was made for hardware that's not out yet. Thankfully I got it on Xbox for like $7 (digital copy) because even though the frame rate dips are minor and don't happen all the time but the Xbox has VRR so you never even notice.

Consoles aside (on PC) I'm getting about 20-40 more fps. I used to have to disable some of the ray tracing and run some settings a notch lower than max at 4k and set DLSS to performance to lock 60fps.

Now I have it maxed with all RT on it's highest settings and DLSS on balanced and I'm getting above 60fps.

Honestly this game should have been cancelled for last gen. They basically wasted 2 years trying to get it running on those consoles. They had to chop off features… The investor's should have let them cancel it.

The good news is this patch is fantastic. It improves the visuals, the performance, adds stuff, makes quality of life improvements, fixes a massive number of issues… And this is just the start… There are more updates to come.

The one thing I really hope they add is wanted level police chases. I know it's not GTA but you see police find you on foot and drones too but they still don't chase you in cars… Although I did see a roadblock setup a couple times so maybe they will add it

  3. Funny how a 2013 game, like GTA V, can still play and look better than a 2020 game like Cyberpunk 2077. Sort out a third person pov, CDPR, otherwise what's the point of having customisation for your character – limited as it is.

  4. Out of curiosity did you compare the last gen PS4 Pro/Xbox One X in 4K HDR vs Next Gen PS5/Xbox Series X 4K Ray Tracing or PS4 Pro/Xbox One X in 1080P or with just 4K & HDR off vs next gen PS5/Xbox Series X Ray Tracing ?

  5. sadly no ray trace reflections. the screen space reflections look really really bad. the picture is constantly changing at night or in some indoors scenes because all the reflections just go away when you look around

  7. I honestly can't say how the game was before because of all the bad reviews and complaints, so i never played it. I have finally tried it with this new update on my series X and I gotta say, I'm loving it!!

  8. At certain point you where wondering what is the big difference between ray tracing and performance modes, but on closer inspection, it had a certain quality…
    And sometimes dark…

It is the overall quality of the lightning-engine itself.
Because everything is correct, according to real physics-laws.
That is a certain quality, which makes your piece of software more valuable.
Especially Cyberpunk 2077, cause this game with Ray Tracing lightning is as if it's made for each other.
