  1. I played the game for about 80 hours, got all Achievements. and that’s about it. it’s a decent game (when the bugs are zapped). But it’s main issue is that it’s very content-constrained. There’s just not that much replay ability until they drop new quest DLC.

  2. i enjoyed my time fine enough when it launched, but i only got like, halfway through before getting distracted. once the upgrades come out i'll probly try it again, even if i have to restart. it was very fun and i'd like to see the ending.

  3. itll take alot for me to be reinterested in the game. bug fixes are just the bottom of it.

i didnt like how fixed rpg it was, i want to be ME in these games, i dont want my voice recorded, plus it seems clear every interior would have been explorative, and no real verticality, i wanna get in a flying car ane fly up to the top of buildings, break into peoples houses and steal shit.

it just wasnt quite skyrim enough

  4. The main plot is mostly good, and that's about all the praise I can give it. Gameplay is bland at best and flat-out bad at worst. There are too many immersion-breaking things to list (but here's a few: NPCs de-spawn as soon as you look away, cars don't have AI, children are just squashed adult NPCs, etc.). There is frankly too much side content, and 90% of it is utter crap (the remaining 10% ranges from 'good' to 'boring').

At least it runs alright now. Most of the time.

  5. For me, CP2077 is like early destiny was rn.

I can see the greatness, but the bugs and shallow endgame make it a decent experience rn, but it feels a little empty and soulless at the same time. Like somewhere between a tech demo and an actual game.

  6. Other than rage inducing bugs like not being able to pick up a weapon if it fell in grass in the badlands and odd clipping in general, I completed 4 of the endings upon initial release on PC. In case it matters to your thats a 6700K with 32GB Ram and RTX 2070 (RTX Off) but overall, it was very playable, enjoyable experience (accepting broken side missions and stupid AI in general)

  7. I played it on launch on PC and I enjoyed my time with it. despite all the bugs, I was invested in the story and characters. But I probably won't reinstall it until they release the DLC.

  8. I will have to say something about the delay I think that is a smart move because it does still need a lot more work even for the next GEN upgrade because there’s a lot of bugs in there needs to be removed and a lot of fixes and hopefully they’ll provide us even more DLC than what they promised us hopefully.

  9. Played it at launch on my X1. Despite the myriad of technical hiccups (nothing game breaking), I thought it was really good, but I put it down until it gets fixed. Can’t wait to hop back in.

  10. I'm holding out for the PS5 version I think, but I've finally come around to giving the game a shot after the original launch and a lot of their PR tactics leading up to that launch turned me off of the game. Lots of commentary I've listened to or read has me thinking there's a lot in the game I'll still be able to enjoy, though, and sometimes I really just want a big meaty RPG like this!

  11. I played on release through the bugs and crashes; completed the game then did two more playthroughs before I got bored with having to start from lvl 1 everytime. I'm really hoping for New Game+ because I did enjoy the game just not the grinding to lvl 50 on every new character.

  12. These people are on crack if they think it'll ever be possible to make this game good. The only way it will ever be good is if they release a version of the game that has a rock solid plot and all the content they promised in the advertising.

  13. I have a really hard time considering going back and playing it even after the patches. The bugs weren't the main thing that put me off. It was all of the fundamental features that haven't been included in the game that were promised. Patches and DLC aren't going to fix that.

  14. love how everyone forgot how much of a bug filled mess the Witcher 3 was when it came out. Mind you I don't think it was as buggy as Cyberpunk and of course that's no reason not to criticize CD project for how buggy Cyberpunk was. They should have never released it in the state it was in.

  15. Cyberpunk was never a bad game itself. It just wasn't up to other games from the same genre that came out before. Red dead redemption 2 or The witcher 3 are so much better games, more feature complete and with better and longer stories.

Cyberpunk ended up being a shadow, not only compared to the promises, but to the high standards that CDProject itself used to stay upon.

I still didn't finish it. I just see no reason to do it. I don't hate CDProject red. But now I am a more intelligent customer thanks to them. I will never EVER buy a game from anyone without watching it play. I just won't. And that's thanks to Cyberpunk. So I am grateful.

  16. Cyberpunk is the only game ive preordered in years and years, I wanted something to look forward to during the pandemic. When it launched I played through 4-5 hours and while it wasn't atrotious I decided to wait till it was "fixed" and I've still not gone back to it. I really wish I stuck to my usual stance and played it a year or two after release. I'm hoping when the next-gen version come out I'll go back to it as hopefully they will do a load of fixes and dlc.

  17. The problem with the game wasn't the bugs. I played the game at launch on a 3080, so my experience was better than most. The issue with the game is in the core game design; it fails at nearly everything it does. It sucks as an rpg and as an action game. Most disappointing game of all time IMO.

  18. Whilst I am a fan of the story regarding No Man's Sky, the precedent that game has started is something I personally loath. The Idea that game companies can release untested, unfinished, or even straight up broken games, and get the customer's okay, simply because the game can be fixed through patches, is not something I personally want to see. It's just laziness.

  19. I believe C2077 will get to No Man’s Sky Level redemption. However, if CDPR ever expects to be at Witcher 3-level trust with gamers again, they will need about 3-4 Witcher 3-level game releases over the next decade or two to get back to make C2077 seem like a bad blip. Very doubtful but that’s just my opinion.

  20. Honestly thought it was mostly fine. I played it on PS4 and only experienced crashes and texture pop in which is nothing compared to the game breaking bugs I experienced with mass effect andromeda

  21. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones, but I bought 2077 on PC on release day, and I've never had a significant issue with it whatsoever. Like yes, the game clearly isn't the fully-realized definition of what they were dreaming of 8+ years ago, but the way I see it:
    1. They haven't given up on it. All of these bug fixes have came via traditional FREE patches, and NOT behind a paywall DLC.
    2. With everything they originally WANTED in Cyberpunk, this would probably be the ONE game in existence to be delayed longer than Star Citizen, and
    3. The game on release day was basically just futuristic GTA (assuming you could get the game to run). And GTA's are beloved. So if everybody had been able to run the game properly, then how would we be looking at it today?

  22. Sorry but nothing about this game to me can "come back" They flat out LIED to everyone and did some super shady things. A game a YEAR later finally getting "fixed" is NOT a good thing, it's sad and downright insulting. I was STOKED about this game since 2017 rumors.
