Beyond the aesthetic, Cyberpunk 2077’s Character Creator asks players to create V’s backstory and decide on their previous life events. All players will begin the game as an up and coming mercenary in Night City, but what happened before then is up to the player. From decisions such as background and birth record to life events, such as ‘ran away from home’ or ‘death of a sibling’, every choice the player makes may affect how the game plays out, from Side Quests that become available to players with certain backstories, to appearances or life histories that cause NPCs to react to the player differently as they move through Night City.

Players will also choose their Class at this stage, selecting from between Netrunner, Techie and Solo. This choice may affect playstyles but the Class and Skill system has been designed to allow fluidity, permitting players to mix and match. What begins as a Techie build may, over time, evolve into more of a Netrunner build, and so on.

V’S LIFEPATH
Select V’s Lifepath. Some events and dialogue options in the Game will be different depending on your choice. These three life passes they don’t just affect the intro of the game, also they control how the game will react to you as a player throughout the whole game.

NOMAD
Roaming the Badlands, looting scrapyards, raiding fuel depots – life on the road wasn’t easy. But growing up in a nomad clan has its perks. Honesty, integrity, and a love of freedom – qualities that few in Night City possess, and no amount of money can buy.

STREETKID
They say if you wonna understand the streets, you gotta live ’em, Gangs, fixers, dolls, small-time pushers – you were raised by them all. Down here the law of the jungle dictates the weak serve the strong – the only law in Night City you have vet to break.

CORPO
Few leave the corporate world with their lives – fewer still with their souls intact, You´ve been there – you’ve bent the rules, exploited secrets, and weaponized information. There’s no such thing as a fair game, only winners and losers.

BIOSTATS
The Biostats tab of the Character Creator in Cyberpunk 2077 is where players allocate their initial stat points. It appears that players start off with a total of 25 points to distribute between 6 Stats: Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Reflexes, Tech and Cool.

Strength is a measure of the character’s ability to deal damage, while Constitution represents the character’s damage resistance and fortitude. Intelligence represents the player’s knowledge, hacking and netrunning abilities, while Reflexes govern the player’s combat and driving skills and prowess. The Tech stat provides the character’s skill with crafting and knowledge of various hardware, and Cool represents the character’s willpower and interpersonal skills: how they present themselves to others, and how they are received.

Unspent Attribute Points will be lost and will not carry over into the game

  1. Fist main/Melee main = Absolute Power (Aka Body upgrades, maximum health increase, cyberware health increase, damage reduce by bullets, unlimited sprint and dodge. Fist damage/melee damage. Etc that is included to improve power and armor.) Might be a boring playstyle but I enjoy fisting the hell out of punks.

  2. Question : to reach 20 (the max I am told) in a stat, how much do you need at start? Your video content here implies that we can fail to reach the max in the preferred stats if we start with, for example, 4. That information, I feel, is the essential part for players.

  3. They really f'ed up not making attributes to be changed via respec.. How would you KNOW in advance what path you want to go down. You can be half way into the game and hate the attributes and the path you took with those. Realizing you wanted to focus more on something else. But you can't change it.. Now have to start all over again. But then AGAIN you can play for tons of hours and realize that you didn't want THAT path either. So now start a 3rd character and from the start.. It makes it really annoying..

It isn't fun being artificially walled in like that. These are the things I hope modders can change.

  4. You don't actually need any body to play a blades build the tree has a surprising amount of health sustain and evasion with the ability to one shot alot of enemies with mantis blade charge attack so a hyped up speed demon is totally viable

  5. I feel like it wasnt pointed out loud enough REFLEXES means GUNS – GUNPLAY (rifles, submachine, handguns). I picked the TECH for that but got burned. TECH is just few tech weapons and GRENADES.. oh also crafting which i dont give an F about. Body is Machineguns and Shotguns. The descriptions of the abilities is shit

  6. I’m still at 1% Jackie is waiting for me to go talk to him but I’ve just been going around doing gigs and stopping crime. I didn’t use any of my perks until I reached level 8 😂 it’s fun when it works and it’s not glitching out

  7. i don't think begining perks matter that much as they are caped and you can still reorient a lot until you get close to level 15 or 20, by then you should already know what build you wanna make.
