  1. I don't understand why they would publically say that the reddit post isn't true. What exactly would be the point of dispelling rumors that put people in better faith your game will become better? I've seen companies dispel rumors that turned out to be true plenty of times before so maybe it is actually true.

  2. Always remember that the holidays and such can delay patches and updates. Though the team will still have been hard at work, no one likes a buggy/broken game, as we start to get into the new year, they probably will start having a better update schedule of smaller patches and such. Normally adding certain things to the game comes with it's own bugs, so I would expect a bit of time before that stuff gets released. Although like with most games, unless they lay out a schedule, we will probably not see/hear anything concrete since bugs can sometimes be difficult to fix, or even make more bugs after fixing them.

  3. I've got the game on PS5 and honestly, I adored it to start but the crashes stopped me from playing,(can't imagine what it was like playing on base console) now I will be waiting for the further patches and DLC. Avoiding spoilers until then lol.

  4. CDPR is shooting themselves in the other foot, if it is true that they don't intend to bring back cut content, then they're going to lose what little the fan base they have left for this game. It is a far cry from the game we were promised. That said the game has good bones, and hopefully that will help modders fix what the devs don't have time for.

  5. I was really hoping for the dev post to be true, but it also sounded to good to be. I love the game but the cut content, the embarrassing police system and the non-existing NPC AI needs to be addressed, be it as a rehaul of the game as mentioned by the developer or just as bug fixes as mentioned by the company. It also needs to remain playable and exiting after finishing the main story or they will surely lose their playerbase very fast. At the end I think not addressing and fixing these issues would be suicide for both CDPR and this game.

  6. I wouldn't jump the gun and trust them willingly in or even give the benefit of the doubt. Don't forget the Associate Creative Designer and also Director of Creative Design in Dec 2018, and Jan 2019. Creative designer was a 13yr employee. 8 yrs and you you really believe this is all CDPR can produce? Reeve's contract had stipulations that required the studio give him a lead role with a required amount of screen time. Hes not exactly the cheapest Actor in town today. Not hating, since I do love the company and its previous works. However, ya just gotta call it for what it is, along with the wonky timeline of events.

  7. People who preordered beat the game, and no one else bought it after because of all the negative reviews. That's the difference between 2077 and the Witcher which people were buying every day after hearing how good it was.

  8. This really makes me want to learn about the true story from the Developers perspective. Think of all the stuff that looked like you once could do and then it looked like they changed it. How did Upper Management censor so much, when the whole vibe was to be edgy and mess around and really how did upper management push the game out in this state… its like a story on rails you play once and your done… They really needed to set up the structure of the game and the story in a different way thats more open for replay ability, Customization, really enjoyable physics, interactivity around you, just stimulus and seriously who was the pin head that censored this mature game… Who cares you get a little blow back from a group of people… You would gain such a die hard following for being brave enough to push past molds and barriers and it would of created this cult following, thats really the potential i see with this game. Just lean into the crime, mercenary, gory, sexual, twisted, demented parts and fully polish them out. Bring in this vibe in the game where you are not just stuck as V dying with johnny… Make it more then that, yes that was a nice story idea but everyone is already over it. It has no replay value.

  9. Well all that just meant is that after 4 or whatever years, this is all they had… I mean Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy had a working third-person and first person and that's a game that came out 17 years ago. The dialogue choices don't matter much all you get is different tones of Noes or Yeses , the lifepath is a complete scam as it doesn't affect how the story plays out and you're pigeon-holed to further Johnny's cause anyway and the main story is mega short for a game that's markets itself as something that'll do even better than Witcher 3 in every aspect. And the complete lack of AI… I mean GTA 3 had a better Wanted System and that game was released in 2001.

I honestly don't understand how the execs greenlighted its release, I see no upside whatsoever, it forever tarnishes their brand, the lawsuits, the backlash, and the lost of goodwill and sales on its future titles. I can't believe that these are the same people that made Witcher 2 and 3, I mean the director for Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 2 (Yes I mean 2) is the same dude, Adam Badowski, in which they released an upgraded version of the game or Enhanced edition for Witcher 2, free of charge. And that game was also a critical acclaim although it didn't garner as much popularity as W3. The move to rush this game out the door just blows my mind, but even so I'd really like to know what's going on behind the scenes, Red Dead 2 took 6 years to develop, and was leaps and bounds ahead of this game in terms of its system design and interactivity, given that this game took 4 – 8 years to develop… it should've been relatively close or even better.

  10. At this point action's speak louder than words, yes, the game is in a shitty to shittier state platform depending & features missing… But I'm not going to lie, still playing and enjoying it. Just want things to be better.

  11. I just learned that most of the devs who made the masterpiece that is The Witcher 3 have left a long time ago, which explains why this game turned out to be so mediocre and forgettable
