  1. I fucking love that your first impression of the Peralez's was "are you guys swingers?"

I think about 85% of players thought the same thing at first, myself included. It's actuallly funny though how easily the game can spoil who they are before you ever play this mission, though, since Jefferson's campaign ads are all over NC, in video and billboard format. Your second playthrough will definitely have you wondering how you ever missed that before meeting them at all.

  2. Diners are definitely still kickin' in America, you just gotta go to the right states and cities to find 'em. Like Long Island, diners are a staple there. They don't have giant neon burgers on top, but they're classic diners with good-ass food. Many LI diners are Greek-owned, so they implement some of that into the menu and generally bring their cooking prowess to whatever you order there. Some of the best food I've ever had was at an LI diner, especially breakfast food.

Although, the diners might be about the only good reason to visit most of Long Island. The place is also kind of a shithole with bad traffic and drivers, and a lot of institutional and systemic racism despite its diversity, ingrained into the place over decades and decades of segregation via the way the roads are laid out and how towns were intentionally arranged and populated, all thanks to old, evil bastards like Robert Moses (purposefully designed the roads to keep blacks and latinos in their low-income areas, unable to travel by bus to beaches in white, rich areas, with things like extremely low bridges only regular small cars could pass under. These bridges still exist, and his name is everywhere in the island's institutions and systems.) and Abraham Levitt (created Levittown. There's a famous old photo of a sign in Levittown around the late 40s to 50s that reads: "we want white people in our white neighborhood". It's insane to think this was less than a hundred years ago, and possibly even crazier to think it's all gone and racism is dead just because the civil rights movement happened)

Actually, maybe don't visit LI, tis a silly place.

  3. When you were confused why Woodman was still alive, it sounds like you may have done a non-lethal takedown or didn't fatally wound him. No matter what weapon you are using there is a chance that they will get knocked down but not die. You can tell when the crosshair is still red pointing at them and they're moving around on the ground. Doing damage to the limbs increases the chances of it happening. You can also use weapons with the non-lethal modifications.

Also for a goofy set of little side quests. In the area you are at in the last few seconds of the video on the stairs of that mega building. Around the corner of the left side of the stairs there is a vending machine you should talk to. Occasionally go back and check on it as well!

  4. Yeah… The game got you man! It was funny to see you becoming psycho about the Peralez! Hehehe! Don't worry, two years ago when I played it the first time, I was the same. Also, becoming buddy or not with Johnny will influence drastically the ending. But from time to time, we are allow to be disagree with him. As about Judy, you can only date her with a mod. Panam is cool, yes. But I, myself, do prefer Judy who is more feminine, more sensitive and more genuine.
I restarted the game some weeks before. And I am playing the DLC for the first time. It seems that it is recommanded to start it between "Transmission" and the last mission (No name to not spoil you). Man… It was intense for me! I was like "why didn't I stay home in my cozy Night City… Sniff"! Hehehe! Enjoy your next adventure! 😀

  5. You don't have to be suspicious of everyone you meet in Night City. There are some decent people. Don't be afraid to get into shit because if anything happens, you can just reload the game lol. Also, I agree with you about the side quests. They really help to round out the game tbh.

  6. River Ward is a bumbling cop and a bunbling romance for Fem V. But if you stick with his quest line you have to guide him the whole way through, or bad things happen. He's literally the Keystone Cop because the devs ran out of development time, or they just liked River needed hand-holding from a merc who makes a better cop than River does 😁

  7. Try using cyberware during battle activating it and looking at the enemy (if I remember correctly) either slows down time or completely stops it gives you some time to give a good cyber attack to the enemies, just a heads up til you look at them time should keep going but I remember having someone in front of me i hit them with a mind wipe and I get some good damage in when it takes afffect

  8. I'm loving your playthroughs, my dude. I'm happy you're enjoying the sidequests as well! When you keep doing them, make sure to read the emails on the computers and the shards left on the bodies. I know it can be a hassle, but you'll be mind-blown as to how much some of the things going on in the area connect, from one crime to another. Keep it up! Can't wait for the next video. 🙂
