It's quite depressing what happened to this game. I personally never cared for the game, but it's a real bummer to see so many people so unsatisfied, considering the amount of time they had to wait. I hope CDPR will be able to make things right.
this would've been the greatest game of all time if they stuck to that 2020 timetable, because through all it's issues what's still out is clearly an unpolished diamond.
Sounds like so many big mistakes were made during the development process that it’s difficult to point out a single one as “the biggest”

A Chinese mega-corpo called tencent games is making a cyberpunk spinoff and it has a decent shot at being better than cyberpunk 2077 from a coding standpoint alone. Let that sink in: a mega-corpo is making a game about good guys sticking it to corpos, and they did a better job than "the good guys"

I definitely agree with you there's so much stuff they cut from the game! You can see it! It feels like there's 20 or 25 hours of gameplay missing! The story is much sorter than it should be! Don't get me wrong I like the game! It's got NO propper ending! You don't see if V get his chip fixed you only assume that he dies! Would prefer for Panam or Judy's relationship with V to last throughout the entire game

I worked at a restaurant for many years and I'm seeing a lot of parallels between this kind of situation and bad chefs, not chefs that are bad at cooking, but chefs that are bad at dealing with management. let's be honest, the good chefs i worked for, nobody could rush them for shit, even if you are the owner or customer, you come to him rushing him when he's busy or even when hes not, he'll respectfully or aggressively tell you to go fuck yourself. and people never complain about the food that come out of our kitchen. and frankly nobody has to wait long.
maybe if the video game industry acted the same. or the gamers aka customers demanded more?
i just hope Michael Pondsmith sues them and gives the licencing rights to another developer like Rockstar, to make a legit cyberpunk game. seriously
