You’ll be pleased to know that todays’ ending isn’t completely depressing, although there will be some tears along the way, it does at least end on a glimmer of hope.

  1. So… I have a question for people smarter than me: (spoilers for the video)
    .
    .
    .
Soulkiller rips out the victims… brain essentially and makes a copy of them in the form of the engram which is then stored on the Biochip.

From what I understand, at the conclusion of the game, V's body has been irreversibly altered so that it now accepts Johnny's mind as it's host, while V is now the intruding foreign body. So… is there any reason that V couldn't be installed on the Biochip which would then begin to re-rewrite the body's DNA to suit her again?

  2. I see the outside viewscreens in the cockpit were glitched for you too. Pity, because I've seen what it's supposed to look like in other videos and it's pretty awesome

  3. By the way Jingles, if you had a romantic relationship in before this ending (in my case, Panam), they're showering at the room before you leave. There's a short conversation before you leave in the cab as well. If I recall, she expresses her frustration with your character going on this mission and how you're running out of time.

And yes, Panam's booty in the nude is still just as fine.

  4. See, this is the kind of game I wished for 30 years ago when eager me was roleplaying CyberPunk 2020. Now I am old, with creaking joints and more favour of naps than epic FPS game burning my day´s usage of my arthritic fingers. Alas, there are playthroughs for us dinosaurs, as portrayed by our Salt Mine Overlord, the Mighty Gnome. For this I offer my thanks. Off to the mines with me.

  5. Wait, What? Spoiler alert!

[snip] Oh, okay. Not a very different ending from the previous. Just more of a bang than a whimper.
Love to see what happens if s/he lights off that cannon in zero G.

  6. Another cliff hanger ending that leaves more questions that it answers; this time V is the big bad merc leader of The Afterlife club and was just about to begin a robbery on an approx 1/16th sized moon geo-stationary space casino resort with the intention of stealing any and all available personal data contained within it's "super secure databases"… Again that would be such an epic mini-quest to actually play. All the while her personality profile and biological/neurological systems are being slowly destroyed to the point it'll be fatal. We don't even know the the timeline of the 2nd ending shown here given the endings in the previous video gave 6 months maximum lifespan before she would die.

But who knows what the DLC's(sad the release dates and costs were leaked during the data theft hostage CD PR suffered) will offer story wise. They just may answer some of these very questions, maybe even give the players the driving seat in it's execution. Either way this has been a game with a less then desirable launch clouded by bad decisions for all involved on all levels yet it's the best game this year; might i say the best SP game in the recent 3 years. Hats off to you CD PR for sticking through everything and giving those who have enjoyed it a proper story with solid gameplay.

  7. Well, at least in this version she isn't dead already 🙂 Those previous endings were bad, I suppose the best of the three was being in a chip but this seems much better, tiny chance better then no chance 🙂

  8. Hey Jingels, in fact, isn't there a solution where none of your friends will die?
If you wait on the rooftop, where you could off yourself and take no decision at first. After several minutes you should have the option to take on Arasaka alone without any friends.
