Liam had me in the first half, but the more you think about it the more fked he becomes. Just like everyone in the city, its hard to find anyone near the top actually be nice…think the only person that was, was the bodyguard of Arosaka (not smasher)
So him protecting Lizzy from turning full cyberpsycho, is wrong, but letting him get brutalized and helping her get away with it, isnt? I feel like you have the wrong priorities dude. But hey ITS A VIDEO GAME I GUESS LOL
Liam deserved it but i also wish there was a way to kill Lizzy too.
I mean the guy was just covering his back from a Cyberpsycho I cant blame him.
Lizzy is clearly in the early stages of cyber psychosis, what Liam is proposing is possibly the only cure for the affliction, an actual medical application for soulkiller. What he is trying to do is save her and many others. As her condition progresses she will become increasingly violent, it will end with a max tac squad putting a bullet in her.
He gives you 35k EDs. That's a stupid huge amount of money compared to most quests at that level.
I didn't realize you could talk to him like this. I assumed he was a bad guy, but his heart is in the right place.
I mean the guards are apart of the animals gang, so they aren't the sharpest cookie in the knife drawer lmao
Correction Grimes is not just Elon Musks baby mama. She's his evil Communist, child grooming, child mutilating and abusing ex wife.
counterpoint to why helping him preserve her is a good thing. Cyberpsychosis might not actually be real and instead an AI infection. Lizzy's radical change is because she is losing herself the same way as V is to Johnny
I was really intrigued by Lizzy Wizzy and wanted more contact with her. Shame she's a borderline cyberpsycho
Jekyll n Hyde situation
First time you play it you might not pay attention to this, but when V asks her during their first conversation "What comes to mind?" she totally shifts and snaps at V something like "Why would you say that? That's a delicate matter." during second playthrough I realised "ok, they actually gave you a hint that she knows that her mind is going down the hatch."
Also it's not like Liam is trying to "change her for himself", she's going Cyberpsycho.
Meaning full on killing machine, probably killing and maybe torturing people in the future and hopefully dying by MaxTac (or if her money & PR are able to cover it up, just murding scores of innocents). If you think he deserves to die for trying to do what he does, without her knowledge (as she is no longer capable of accountability and consent in accordance to her treatment), you also approve of insanity patients (who are legally unaccountable and therefore do not have to consent to the treatment of their illness, as long as its purpose is to help them) killing their caretaker.
His real mistake was, that because he loved her, he tried to save her, instead of calling MaxTac and delta.
This is kind of a no win situatuon here. In his mind he might think he is trying to save her. His words to the corpo clearly show that he is trying to change her because he knows he is losing control of her. If you side with him then she becomes his puppet, not a person. If you side with her she loses her mind and kills him. It feels justified to me though. This is night city. There are no happy endings.
I think your analysis of this situation is little bit short-sighted. Siding with Lizzy much worse. If we take what Liam is saying as face value then Lizzy is pretty much closet cyberpsycho and we (V) as our moral arbiter into game world must stop this. Preservation of life is greater/stronger judicial good than allowing cyberpsycho roam free.
Yes Liam schemed behind Lizzy´s back but killing him (V is essentially sentencing him to his death if he does not intervene) is too excessive for his crime.
They weren't in a relationship with each other Lizzy just wanted him
lol, in the intro you just hop on a car and go for a ride. it was a pasttime for a while to do this and see where i'd end up, but often it'd just get stuck in random places. this also is how I found out you could just chuck grenades from the top of a car and mostly avoid wanted levels, and it would usually unstuck the car since they would panic. that in turn is how i found out NPCs could die from colliding into something at speed.
so is ther a way wher he lives when w e side with him, or he dies in all endings of this quest ?

This one is more of one metaphysical perspective.
The First is that Lizzy successfully was transferred into the robot alas her original conscious, therefore making it wrong to kill or manipulate her. However she still needs immense psychological treatment.
The Second.
Lizzy died that night on stage and she's merely a copy, ironically a product that believes it to be alive.
Therefore resetting her would be the moral conclusion. As glitching out would only tarnish her name.
Hilarious that you consistently censor the F word when someone in the game says it, but you just let it fly when you say "this f***ing game!"
So basically let someone use Soulkiller on her or let her turn full cyberpsycho over time?
I'd let her go full cyberpsycho. Just gives me someone new to bonk and give to Regina.
I never liked Lizzy I wish you could have killed her
This game is a lost cause now.
Preem
I had to skip through all of her dialogue, her acting was so bad. Plus, Grimes' lisp sounds completely terrible. As a Canadian, zero respect for grimes
You have some strange opinions on this game man
Lizzy is a genuinely disturbed and dangerous individual, she gets so bored with her life of comfort life of wealth and fame that she seeks a new thrill in the form of murder, if she had less pull there would've definitely been a noose put on her sooner
in every one of my playthroughs she gets exactly what she deserves
When I read "Betray", I kept thinking Liam would turn it around and hire V to subdue Lizzy for eventual Relic'ing. It'd be just another cyberpsycho to handle. Or even subdue her, betray Liam, and contact Regina Jones to take Lizzy in for treatment.
Wish I could rat out Liam, then kill Lizzy when whatever it was that took her over does so.
theyre bouncers not hitmen…. it actually makes a decent amount a sense. youre not longer thier propblem and they dont wanna get offed by a merc
a nice touch
Later on, there is a tv segment about the BD of Lizzy killing Liam that is being praised as a new lever of art by the tv girl (forgot her name), welcome to NC!
I’m pretty sure Liszt is either supposed to be a cyber psycho or one of those people controlled by the shadow government with the blue eyes
the way she changed when we found her with the body, tells me he was right to be worried. and of course asking her permission would see it denied(likely with the same outcome. so, yeah. dude should have been more careful. and probably asked to deal with a MAN.
Hidden my ass.
It's not their AI. It's because of the quest area. It's marked as a safe zone so combat isn't even supposed to happen, but CDPR forgot that like they monkeys they are so they basically filled the game with broken quest.
