28:12 Pretty sure "jump starting transformers" isn't a thing– you hook up alternating current to one side of a transformer, the other side spits out electricity of a different voltage. Admittedly my background is low-voltage electronics (12 volts or lower DC in general), and Panam's messing with potentially thousands of volts AC (high-power transmission line)– one wrong move and not only are you dead, you've also probably started a nasty fire. An electrician would probably be more knowledgeable than I am, but someone who worked as an engineer at a substation would have the actual lowdown.
TL;DR Don't actually do what she's doing, you'll probably blow up your car. Or your parents' car. It sounds awesome, but you don't want to be anywhere near the car when you make the connection.

I had the weirdest bug trying to get through the window into the little building under the breakers. I would try to get through the window, and it would punt me 200m out into the desert.

@Jingles The key issue is not whether or not you can do this, but the fact that ghost town like this would be just simply cut off from the electrical grid so that people can't go fuck with it like Panam is doing right here.
