    Fixed the high CPU temp!

Windows Settings >> System >> Power & Sleep >> Additional Power Settings >> Choose Balanced Power Plan >> Change Power Settings (for balanced) >> Change Advanced Power Settings >> Processor Power Management >> Maximum Processor State >> Set to 99% >> Apply

My CPU temp is now staying around 60° with minor(edit) loss in FPS! A lot better than the 80° – 90° that it was hitting while recording this.

  2. What were your temps before you fixed it. I'm asking because i have a basically brand new pavillion 17 with the same cpu and while playing AAA games my cpu literally hovers between 90-100c and i don't know if it's design flaw in my laptop paired with a hot cpu or if it's just my specific laptop that has issues. I was going to RMA it but i heard these cpu's do run very hot i just don't know if 90c+ is common for this cpu.

  3. Hey, how well do you think the Legion 5 is compared to the Y540? I have the option to either get the Legion 5 with 10300H and 1660ti or a Y540 with 9750H and a 1660ti, but I'm leaning more towards the Legion 5 since it's a newer model. What do you think?
