  1. I know a lot of people don’t like Cyberpunk and wanted it to fail but I actually enjoyed the game, loved the characters, danced to the soundtrack, and liked the story. I hope it wins best score/music but as far as it getting nominated for best RPG, that’s a mistake by the Game Awards

  2. The music was probably one of the only perfect things about cyberpunk. Absolutely no complaints. However I completely agree with your point of view on the situation. What the amount of lying that was done behind that game I don't think it should be ever nominated for anything.

  3. The awards and ratings me alot to 60% or more of the industry most people don't follow games they see an award and high rating and think it's a great game

  4. Maybe they should do the Game Awards after new years for that previous year so everyone has their thoughts out on every game. And ya know… The games for that year actually come out before the awards so they get nominations for the year that they even came out in.

  5. if a game does something great, well above any other in its category, it should be nominated for that award regardless of criticism surrounding it. to say “cyberpunk had the best music of any game of the year, but the game was really REALLY buggy at launch so it shouldn’t be nominated for best music” is pretty dumb and unfair no matter how u spin it.

  6. I do feel sorry for the developers and all the people working on CP2077… The game they were (could´ve been) so invested in enden being a huge failure because of stupid choices of the bigwigs… It might be nice for them seeing their work nominated for something after all of that… On the other hand, I get what you say, they missed the cut, and that IS sort of the producers´s fault.

  7. Hey Alex! Tbh I don’t agree with you this time on the idea of not taking games releasing after the cut in either year. Imagine that Halo Infinite’s campaign is amazing, why should it be excluded altogether? I think it’s fair for it to be considered for next year’s gala

  8. Outside what wasnt there. Its being judged by whats there. Not everything thats there. But what ever got it nominated is why its there. Everyone whos upset is just a drone. It hasnt even won yet.

  9. there's a nov 18,19(?) cutoff for being nominated for rewards. If they did it for Dec 31, the show will be in Jan, and shows tend not to be watched in Jan bc people are focusing on Christmas/holiday gifts, new years resolutions, work policy changes, and catching up on things prior to holiday festivities

  10. Cyberpunk is a rpg and actually a good one. There are a lot of dialogue choices and outcomes and the story, quests and characters are great and if you've actually played it properly and did multiple playthroughs there are a lot of subtle things that change through your playthrough. It was buggy at launch but the core game is actually pretty good so it deserves it.

  11. 2 game awards nomination actually totally within my expectations & I think it really deserve a win for best score & music.
Although I did not expect RPG category. What I was expecting was:
    1. Best Score & Music
    2. Voice Acting Performance
    3. Story (this is already pushing it)

CP2077 certainly do not deserve RPG category nomination because of its troubled technical performances.
