I actually thought this was part of the mission and was then dissapointed when I realized that there was nobody there. Just imagine fighting on a moving platform and being able to push people out while being carefull not to get pushed off yourself

Wow, wouldn't it have been cool if this was an actual, in-game option to progress this part of the story and offer more variety into how main quests can be approached? Funny that it's something you could do, but is clearly not coded to LET YOU do it because… no-one bothered to test this out and no thought it would be nice to allow players the option to do.
When I did this, the float was never moving. I used double jump to enter the top of the float where I found Hanako just standing. You can't interact with her, she just stands there and looks at you haha
I actually found like 3 distinct places where you can go and jump over to the float. I even managed to stand in front of Hanako and drop a few grenades at her. She moves a bit, but she's quite unbothered by them. Such strong woman! 😀
Yea , you can . I discovered it one time I had just fallen down due to some knockback damage . I was looking for a way to go back up and was like "wait…can I actually jump on the carriages or are they not going to be solid..?" . Tried it , it worked , was super fun to pull off .

Double jump implant would be better here
If you kill all the snipers then jumping on the float is literally the best option. Especially because you're so high.
