  1. They better lose the lawsuit, unlike nomansky. Even they should have lost.
Developers false advertise on purpose with the safegaurd of the slogan "This video contains work-in-progress game play — everything you see is potentially subject to change." Potentially reeling in many more consumers thus increasing pre-purchase sales and sales. It still has not been made clear by CDPR what this game is, and the misleading content remains up for more people to be manipulated into buying this horrible game. LMAOOOOOOO ITS A CRIME, Especially things like stating that you already have implemented these systems and improved on them —– " We've greatly enhanced our crowd and community systems to create the most believable city in an open world game to date." this implies that the basic system already existed and they've greatly improved on it. The system doesn't even exist. If you think there is some form of crowd and community system in place, there is although it is not the one they mislead us in believing exists. It is in fact a direct rip from the witcher 3's system. And that system could not be improved to the extent they advertised as being the most believable in an open world game to date. (GTA IV system surpasses any system in the entirety of CDPR catalogue). They would have to redevelop a totally new system to achieve what they lied to us about.
Its not only this that was lied about, From stating the game runs on xbox one/ PS4 and on release it did not function at all. This alone proves that they knew it would be a disaster upon release. I mean how could they not have tested the game on PS4 or xbox one consoles. They will just say they didn't test on those consoles to win the lawsuit although why are you advertising sale for those consoles if you don't KNOW it works for them. More evidence that they must have tested the game on those consoles and wanted to make benefit of holiday sales so instead of clarifying to customers and investors that the game doesn't work on consoles they pushed it for sale on the slight chance some people will buy it and accept this. Simply put they must have tested the game on old gen consoles, knew it didn't function and they did not want to tarnish pre sales by disclosing the fact it wont be available on launch day for consoles. If they did not test the game on consoles this is no excuse as they did advertise the game functioning on said consoles, this is evidence of more false advertising that is not subject to the iconic phrase "potentially subject to change", however they will get a slap on the wrist for being negligent for not testing game on said consoles. This is wrong and they should indeed be held accountable in full. This dev has completely falsified the games image and what it actually is in order to boost sales. Theres allot more evidence that they knew it would be a disaster take for instance the fact that they never showed us actual footage on the xbox one or PS4. they never allowed streamers or youtubers who played and reviewed the game to utilise their own footage.

VERY SHADY TACTICS. EVERYONE SHOULD BOYCOTT AND NEVER SUPPORT CDPR AGAIN

    CONCLUSION,

ALL LIES, CDPR ARE INDEED LIARS> And they did indeed know the games release would be a disaster!

  2. Isn’t it a new game I’m sure there’s bug fixes along the way they just wanted to get it out as soon as possible probably + there’s so much more other details that go into it like lightning and placement

  3. Not every game is going to be as good as Red Dead Redemption 2. It's unfair to expect a masterpiece like that every time, but fuck me this is so far below expectations, Cyberpunk AI being beaten out by cockroach AI from 2 decades ago is a discrace.

  4. Whenever a pedestrian or a driver hit me or harmed me in any way, I never wanted to get revenge like I did in GTA cus they don't feel like humans at all so revenge wouldn't have satisfied me, I'd just move on. Maybe I can learn something from this

  5. The program of cyberpunk’s humans are apparently stupid. It doesn’t matter the size or anything since these are video games, so, technically in the world of video games a cock roach is smarter than a human.

  6. To be fair this is kind of like a nostalgia weeb's take on it; always saying 'old is better' over and over but then they never even play it or find old had some flaws of its own. 2077's devs definitely 'could' have added less buggy behavior to 2077, but I believe they just left it in for novelty and just because it worked already. They had to remove things like that because frankly most people cannot handle it on their computers to have full NPCs with better AI, and there was already framerate issues even after they had to reduce NPC counts, and do other reductions to their game; mainly because not everyone is going to buy over-expensive crap to barely run a less optimized game even if it would have been more impressive to see the full processing power in use. They just had to compensate a lot to make the game run smoother on most computers including mine (which is more budget and I never overspend on the latest parts). But, I feel the joke is usually on the person (like this wheatley guy) who thinks they are laughing at the bugs. They are like 'hahaha, bugs' but the devs actually chose to make it that way. Almost like a hamster in a perpetual wheel or exhibiting dunning kruger symptoms, the people who actually joked about 2077's bugs are probably not very intelligent while they think they are pointing out 'big groundbreaking things' over and over to other people or making some witty joke about the so called bugs. But it is true, arguably, many game movement and AI is sometimes not even as optimized or better than good pathing used in previous C++ games, even really old ones, it doesn't mean it was 'easier' to take a cockroach with 0 animations and make it change a few states or do something, whereas at least the 2077 one did change animations and react in some ways too, even if they end up disappearing randomly and being generic npcs too, having some corners cut to save people's framerates. Even some of those clipping issues were clearly quick fast-computed ways to avoid vehicles and NPCs getting stuck and causing jams, which would have been immensely worse, especially since you sometimes get driven through the AI traffic or have to drive through it yourself, I'd much rather things clip through the wall to get unstuck and continue than to see constant crashes and slowdowns; or possibly endless loops that make you have to reload because something gets 'stuck' rather than proceeds.

  7. In the modern day, AAA stands for advertising three times over because that's where most of the budget from these ultra-rich game studios goes, and the gameplay is just a shallow puppetry of the graphics. All skin and makeup, and no bones or muscles to support it.

Curb your expectations. If a game has to spend more than 5 years in development and is STILL being advertised, be very wary.

Don't preorder shit. Preorders are promotional garbage that offer absolutely nothing of value; they're revenue devices only slightly better than microtransactions because they don't prey on gambling addicts.

  8. I feel heart put into programming makes a huge difference. Create a game because wanting to, you'd wanna make sure everything works out forever at best. Make a game for profit alone, and…
(Just my opinion. I felt CP2077 was just made for money. I felt The new Deus Ex game was enough, better even)
