I played through Cyberpunk 2077 (PC) with the day one update. I have to say it wasn't up to CDPR standard, but was still far above industristandard, don't know what you all have.
When the game was put back on the Playstation store they put a disclaimer that game is not playable on base ps4 and it is on ps5 but that does not sound right since this game did not get it so called next Gen update, for what I can tell from the pc platform and xbox the game is still a mess and that goes back to the core design of the game not being good. Modders have done more this game since release and they do not even have special dev kit to make the mods. What I find funny is that cdpr is pushing Witchercon to have everyone forget this mess of a game instead of keeping their head down and actually make the game that they advertise.
It's over for this game. Feels like people have stopped caring.
It's amazing how they already had planned DLC by this time in their roadmap before release and they can't even fix the game 8 months later…
I predict the Anthem route and not the No man's sky route for this game. Stability improvements and bug fixes they will tease a major overhaul but just until their next game is ready to be shown then just kill it.
I'm convinced that this game was not even 40% complete, and they just took what they had and sold it. I feel like, at this point, how can I consider this anything other than a scam? There is a reason it isn't fixed after all this time, it's because the pizza dough is uncooked, and it needed more time in the oven. You're asking them to patch something that clearly wasn't very well developed. Even the story feels like not much was actually written for it. I dunno, it's frustrating. I didn't think they'd fuck up this bad, I thought they had learned from W3's release, but apparently not. They have to stop shooting themselves in the face.
I wonder if they just fired the entire marketing department and the new interns just didnt have the time to care for that stuff.
This game was forgotten about quicker than the outer worlds and that was almost a record in itself.
Damn it CDPR. I'm trying really hard to be optimistic but you make it impossible
