Cyberpunk 2077 Adam Smasher Boss Fight on Hard Difficulty.
Main Mission: Totalimmortal
Strategy: For this fight it’s recommended that you equip a Revolver, an Assault Rifle, and a Sniper Rifle (this covers different types of ammo so you don’t run out of bullets). Adam Smasher will initially use melee attacks. Shoot off his right arm (when you aim at him, to your left). When he loses this body part it deals him a lot of damage and he will stop using melee attacks. Then he will mostly resort to using the rocket launcher on his back. When he shoots rockets you will always want to keep moving because they are targeted at the area where you were standing. They are easy enough to avoid. Between his missile charges you can then shoot him with your Sniper Rifle and Assault Rifle from afar. He will also start spawning some lesser enemies as his health drops. The Ninja-type enemies are easily defeated with 1-2 frag grenades (they might evade your bullets, so toss a grenade to save ammo). Circle around the upper area and keep your distance to Adam Smasher. Only focus on the lesser enemies when they get close to you, otherwise focus your attention on Adam Smasher. He has quite a lot of health but after his initial melee phase he’s pretty limited in his moves. Shoot off the rocket launcher on his back and he will be defenseless and not have much left to attack you. At that point you could also smash him with melee weapons if you run out of ammo.

Is he so hard? He died so quickly after I gave him 3 or 4 shots with comrade's hammer…
Used comrades cannon and 4 hit smasher
I killed him with katana in less than 2minutes by standing infront of him and slashing…
So this is supposed to be a ‘boss fight’
How do you unlock the boss fight

In Wahrheit war der Kampf für mich die größte Enttäuschung des ganzen Spiels.
1x Kurzschluss Hack, Adam -50%.
2-3 x Überhitzen Hack hinterher, und dieser Killer blieb einfach stehen, und hat drauf gewartet, dass ich ihn mit meinem Smart Scharfschützengewehr hinrichte…

I also found ODA way harder than him… then again, I had a netrunner build which didn't do much to Oda, but basically temporarily shut down Adam Smasher and in that time frame I could give em hell… grenades, tech sniper rifle, what have you… zipping away a lot of his health. the first blast from my Achilles and he literally lost his first arm after 5 seconds of me being in the game… I mean it was a legendary weapon but come on…
my V are so OP and adam smasher is the one who is running from me and calling reinforcement. LOL. Eat that system reset and Revolver
I was expecting someone who is just full on aggressive, like Pontiff Sulyvahn aggressive. Hes more like Terminator and Robocop had a baby

damn that was intense. thx for showing us how it was supposed to be. like many others it took me seconds to finish him off (lv 50, maxed blades, used katana). was hoping for somethiing closer to what we see here ^_^

Adam Smasher entrance during the Arasaka ending is the best because it's badass fighting him on your own.

I feel like people that say Smasher was nerfed in the game don't realise how OP their V can become in the story. If we assume that all the Sidequests are Canon then that pretty much makes V on a similar level, if not even better than, Morgan Blackhand. Now, before all the og cyberpunk fans come and crucify me hear me out lol. The game mentions that V has a few weeks to live once he gets the engram. In that small few weeks V's dealt with cyberpsychos, corps and some of the toughest mercs night city has to offer. Depending on your choices you can also obliterate the best netrunners in Night City, the voodoo boys, kill three Maelstrom bosses, three Tyger Claw bosses and many more stuff I cant remember off the top of my head. All in all, depending on how you play the game V has accomplished many impressive feats in just the span of a few months so ofc a max level V would be able to go toe to toe with smasher with ease.

Talk about creativity here you could've use some hacks at least

Really hard fight for my Intelligence + Stealth build… until I realized you could get a cheeky out-of-combat Short Circuit if you were really fast. Starting him at around 59% made things easier. 😀

cdprojekt cares about pc gamers more than console gamers
They need to fix this fight so it scales to your level. I dropped him in seconds. Granted I was max everything with full legendary gear, but even still… I wanted to experience a proper boss fight. I didn't even get to see all his moves on display here in this video because he died so quick.

My sister bought this game for Christmas and she needed my help with this fight. It was so intense down to the wire and we were using a Katana for this fight 😎

It's interesting to see that it took you 8 minutes to do this fight when I did it in 2 minutes with a silenced revolver that did 20k damage and sonic shock

i defeated Adam Smasher with Skippy.
I didn't realize how OP I was for this fight. Until the cutscene ended and he went instantly to 50% with a bullet.
