  1. I had that same problem when I tried to find her grave. Some people said they could find it, maybe a bug with a condition getting set, or maybe its been patched. I dunno.

  2. To be fair, Johnny said HE wouldn't do anything stupid. He never said he wouldn't make V do something stupid like breaking into a heavily guarded celebrity's mansion. I had little interest in this game, but Gopher's playthrough made me want to try it… Perhaps once they have finished the DLCs and patches, and we get the GotY or similar edition.

Any plans on uploading a second playthrough once this one is over? I remember you mentioning already have played through this game two more times or so.

  3. Believe it or not, Gopher. A lot of us believe he was going to commit suicide. Here's some clues
    1) He sent all his employees back for a day, including his cleaner, assistant, and his cook.
    2) He was in a shower with a gun.
    3) When he came out a few seconds after you started playing, he was dry. Meaning he started the shower for at least 5 minutes without being in it.

  4. I'm watching your Witcher 3 LP and I just realized Kerry's heroic portrait with a sword looks a lot like Dandelion's heroic portrait with a sword lol. Probably an intentional wink from the devs. And I realized that MILF Guard sounds like Nilfgaard, so there's another.

  5. Its fun to see someone play through without quick hacking, but as far as bots are concerned, shock quickhack kind of makes them one and done enemies, love psycho'ing the mechs to fight for me though… fun times

  6. I sincerely appreciate this play through, Gopher. There’s only one or two other LPers I watch and while they both enjoyed the game, I couldn’t commit to their playthroughs because they played like gaming was their livelihood – just blasting through the game.

I had a really hard time committing to this LP, too. I feel like there was a much steeper learning curve for you in the beginning and sadly I allowed myself to become frustrated watching. I spent the last two weeks binge watching this playthrough and I’m so grateful. Once you hit your stride it became an incredible ride.

The reason why you’ve always been my favorite content creator is pretty simple. Every game has distinct mechanics, gameplay, story, whatever. Despite this you’ve always approached every game I’ve ever seen you play “holistically”, if you will. You commit to roleplaying to such an extent that you start finding ways around and through the game that weren’t even necessarily designed, you can turn bugs that upend disbelief into reflections of the world right off the cuff, you engage with the material far more deeply than just playing what the game has to offer.

You’re a storyteller, sir. These games, even if literally facets of your livelihood, they’re just tools or kit – crayons or sandboxes – for you to build genuinely unique stories for those of us who love to watch you. This isn’t a job. You made it clear so many years ago it wouldn’t be a job – you’d never play anything you didn’t want to, you’d never play anything in a way you wouldn’t want to, and if it didn’t work out, that was going to be fine.

I’m happy and feel lucky all the time to have found someone who has a passion I’m passionate about. You have a loyal community of folks who love you and appreciate your work and I can honestly say one of the few things in this world I’m blindly optimistic about is whatever’s over the horizon for GopherGaming.

    Thanks, choom.
