Good afternoon Gopher 😊
Oh, no fight with the mini-boss Matila 🙁
3:43 He is watching your RDR2 vids, Gopher.
Ah yes, a new cp2077 video, what a thing of beauty!
Good morning/afternoon all!
10:08 Me giggling like a little girl. Video Spoiler:
Now EVERYBODY has to DIE!!!
Awesome shooting mate! Yeah this entire scene is intense. Alt seems like such an amazing character! Shane we never get to meet her as V!
damn, the no dmca music is no where near as good as the original song that plays during this part 55:35. 🙁
Love the game, but the soundscape is so pee poor…
The goat play through
The solution to the chip problem is obvious. Find Alt's siblings – Del and Ctrl – and between them they'll be able to end the process. In a (vulcan nerve) pinch. 😉
Hope you are having a decent thursday Gopher, and thanks for the episode.
Nicely avoided combat with Matilda the animal there Gopher 🙂 well done for sneaking past her, she's a beast! 😀
Gopher the car that was on fire is Johnny's car, he was even driving it at 40:42 Maybe that is why Thompson didn't mind 😀
I dont think you were supposed to get that Lizzy Wizzy textmessage during the Johnny interlude 😀
53:21 – So Johnny is getting V's messages from the future? Well done CDPR! slow clap
Their BBS looks very different from what I remember BBSes looking like. They might not be using a dial-up modem though…
So sad that you got that silly sound bug they still haven't fixed yet where it should be switching from that annoying Guitar riff to the Rebel Path track when you start guns blazing, if you listen closely you can hear it playing but the riff is over taking it, i had to reload 2 times to get rid of mine. and yea that message from Lizzy should NOT have come through while your Johnny. but glad you dont let the weirdness bother you, another great episode!! 😀
Mistakes were made. Don't do this and leave us with a cliff hanger! Now I have to wait for the next episode. Good stuff here. Loving it ❤
Yay finally Johnny's iconic 930 has made it's appearance in the Let's play
Damn that audio glitch. A simple reload would have fixed it though. Very annoying.
Gopher, you have to keep in mind that Johnny's cyberware is several decades older than yours, of course it sucks
Gopher finding out hand guns are rad. To be fair Johny's gun is amazing indeed.
Thank you for the content Gopher. Ya legend!
this part sucks where characters just die off like in long running tv series.
Whoa!!! 😮😮😮
Yeah when Johnny punched that reporter guy I really disliked him. Guy basically saved your life and helped you at his own personal cost and wants to show the World that Arasaka are kidnapping and killing people for their experiments but because Johnny needed to vent his anger he punches the guy to near-death. After that all my dialogue choices became heavily anti-Silverhand.
The most tragic thing of this whole arc: if you read the tabletop source book you get these events from Alt's POV and she was just about to save herself when Johnny pulled that cable out of her. If he'd have been even thirty seconds later she'd have woken up no problem.
"your car is on fire" Johnny how could you not recognize your own car? hahaha
Spoilers on alternate paths Gopher has already played through.
Placide intended to use you as a vector for something that ends up looking like suicide virus, burning out you and every linked NetWatch agent in Pacifica. Ranyon, indeed. As I'm sure you've played through the rest of the quest by now, you've seen the other side of that coin. It's a pity you didn't have the stats to get that last line of dialogue with the agent, as it puts the whole conflict in perspective – e.g., according to the agent, how thin the Blackwall really is, and what the Voodoo tech is doing to it.
Johnny's Malorian can be a lot of fun for sure.
Google says Yon bet debaz means a basic animal so yes, he is just a dumb brute.
I remember reading the novel "Never Fade Away" the first time. This episode does not yet reveal how tragic the event actually was for both Johnny and Alt. I don't remember clearly if game talks about it at later stage, so I will not go deeper in to it.
Jonny's spontaneous concert in Arasaka park was somewhat larger than what was depicted here. They went in by force of masses.
The later outcomes made for this game were of course equally tragic. Alt's Soulkiller program ended being a bane for both of them, when Saburo used it's advanced version to fry Johnny and create an engram of his psyche.
CDPR writers used that story really well in Cyberpunk 2077. V was tied to lead stories and characters in Pondsmith's Cyberpunk world. It does make him/her feel more tied in to world than average RPG character would be.
I have to raise my hat for CDPR creative team. They did hell of a job with source material.
Edit (with potential spoiler about Alt's state): I didn't notice before writing this, but Alt's state was already mentioned in comments. Johnny indeed accidentally killed her, when he was trying to save her. No one in that crew was a runner, so none of them knew how to inspect the situation, before Johnny pulled the plug. In the novel Alt screamed behind screens, but Johnny couldn't hear her. He left carrying her body away.
40:41 – That's not how fucking cars work.
51:28 – Who's driving? asked gopher in a game where literally every god damn car has a built-in AI in it.
Huh… so was Alt the lady in the Cyberpunk trailer? With the mantis blades? From 2013?
When they showed parts of this dialog with NW agent in "trailers" I expected entire storyline about NetWatch, more backstory, something else, same was when they showed us we can take Militech and Stout side, but just like with Militech there is pretty much nothing, pretty much just 2 random characters with few lines of dialog 🙁 What a waste.
For such an important mission you would think they would have given a clue earlier on in the game that scans shouldn't be the same or something so the player can feel rewarded for remembering and having an understanding of the world they are playing in
Yes! Finally caught up! I was back at episode 30 or so 2 weeks ago – had fun so far!
