3. Mate, overwatch is still a top sniper rifle….espercially with the silencer. old but gold.

4. Overwatch does one thing, but it's the only option for that one thing. Sparky didn't impress me, but if you do the gig, take it. Used to think the Asura was useless, but recently I've come to like for what it is, and it seems to have gotten an upgrade in the last update. Widow Maker has a poison bonus, and it's a precision rife which puts it between an assault rifle and a sniper. The Nekomata is every sniper's first gun, as you can get it early in the game, and you get better ones as you go along easily. I like your description of the Osprey-it's a rocket launcher disguised as a sniper. You can get it the second time you go to the safehouse under Alex's bar, and the case is unmarked so you have to look a bit. I'm of mixed feelings about the Raetsu. It looks wicked, and it is an effective rifle. Its party trick works if you have targets close to each other, but otherwise it's a less powerful Neko. BTW, you always get it, because even if you failed going silent while helping Reed, you take the gun when you leave to meet him. Wish you could take its silencer, too. I find that Overwatch and Asura are my go-to snipers now, with the Neko and Osprey as backups

5. Sparky is indeed great, but you can't get it until after you enter Dogtown, and that might take a while. For a long time, the silenced Overwatch didn't seem very silent…but in the current [2.1] game, it is very effective in stealth. I crafted my Ashura and it arrived with two mod slots. I see some people are calling it weak, but the trick is to take the time to lock it onto your enemy target. Too soon and it will miss. Of course, it won't work very well at all unless you have both the Smartlink hand cyberware and invest some Perks into Intelligence. In the current game, neither the Widowmaker nor the Achilles rifle accept a scope, which is ridiculous in a 'precision rifle'. Scopes can be modded in, however. For some reason I never noticed that it fires two shots at once, which increases its power a lot, but reduces its capacity. The Nekomata is about my favorite sniper…it has an excellent scope in the 2.0 game, and fires fast…almost like a battle rifle. It's limited to 4-round magazines, which again is not very real-world, but there are mods that increase this if you want [I generally go for 5-round mags]. I crafted mine with two mod slots as well. They are also pretty common to just pick up as loot.
