  1. The Raven cyberdeck is waaaaaaay better than the Rippler for a PURE net-runner, aka no weapons. I can clear a whole entire Airdrop in dogtown 100m away with just Overclock and Synapse Burnout spreading to everyone. And using the cyberware that gives 100% crit chance on quickhacks, this single hack was dealing over 10k dmg. Put 20 on Body as well with adrenaline rush and you get infinite RAM and Health, since everytime you kill someone with Synapse Burnout Tier 5, it gives +5 seconds to your overclock. You can also combo Cyberware Malfunction/Short Circuit on robots, mechs and drones to use less RAM and destroy them all without even leaving the Scanner to regain some health quicker, or combo Contagion/Overheat for some exploding shenanigans. You can even use Sonic Shock to avoid tracing, and spreading Cyberpsychosis/Suicide/System Collapse is always fun.

  2. I love playing as a Sandy Samurai, though I swapped out my beloved Satori for the Errata once it became available. With 2.0, I’ve also started to really like playing with the thermal Projectile Launcher both to break up large groups and to set them up with Errata’s ability. Although, I do have a Netrunner save that I like to jump to for variety.

  3. I’ve spent time with smart and tech weapons in 2.0 and I can tell you now, smart weapons have been massively nerfed across the board. I was doing a netrunner/stealth hybrid with smart weapons except for snipers and my silenced pistol. Just using the purple smart shotgun was painful, I got more out of a tech shotgun especially after upgrading to the maelstrom shotgun from phantom liberty. Even though I liked Panam’s sniper, the stealth abilities have either been nerfed or got borked and never fixed since 2.0. I now run either the breakthrough or the phantom liberty iconic tech sniper. When compared to the g58 Dian, the senko lx and it’s iconic outperform in many ways that smart weapon either when hipfiring or when charging up and aiming down sights. I had to respec my points to tech and rip out smart weapon perks. The smart weapons time to aim without being in overclock mode and their general inaccuracy when not fully locked in an enemy was frustrating. Tech is higher damaging hands down compared to power weapons and easier to use now.

  4. My build is David's sandy build but with blades. The leap attack for blades is so good, the movement with it + double jump and air dash is ridiculous. And the blade finishers make the game feel like Doom. 100% recommend if you wanna hack and slash, its 20ref 20tech 15body 15cool 10int

  5. the most powerful build (and the easiest to play) I have the chance to try is built aroun DB4 Palica smart stottie and Tsunami smart sniper rifle:
    – have 20 int, to fully utilize smart weapons perks,
    – at least 15 str, to ulitilze shottie perks,
    – at least 9 in reflexes, for the Dash to have some mobility
    – at least 15 in cool, for boost to sniper rifle and EMP damage after reload for all weapons.
At cyber deck, utilize disable optics, contigation, disable cyberware (3 stacks for best synergy) and cripple movement.
For the 3rd weapon, get Genjiroh for some car action, or any high powered pistol for stealth, if you want so.
