  1. The biggest problem is that people thought it was a sandbox game, it still isn't and never was going to be. Its a story RPG with a few limited sandbox elements, like the ability to choose what place your apartment looks like or what clothes you wear or what vehicle you like. It's also unfortunate that a lot of your choices don't end up mattering much except for in the best/most well written missions (eg: its an absolute shame you can't save Brendan the SCISM or adopt him). Sure little things change, like some dialog flavor or which side you're on, but at the end of the day your choices have very little effect on the world and you're still doing the same thing the next day you would have done with either choice. V also tends to make a lot of dumb decisions that you're just forced to go along with, and there's no option to play smarter. (eg: Dex has some huuuuge red flags). There's also still no Tram/Rail in the game yet either like we saw in both Edgerunners and the trailers. Still, if you get it on sale for like $20 its worth picking up. Its by no means perfect or completely fixed. I wouldn't say its reached No Man's Sky levels of fixing yet, but at least its worth paying for now. Amusingly the very first thing that happened to me when I tried to play the game, is it crashed…and this is 3 years later. (I've had only about 3-4 crashes, and most of them were from just trying to open the game – other than that its been mostly stable, but still it was a funny first impression given all the flak the game had gotten…talk about putting your best foot forward.) Shame people keep buying games/pre-ordering them with the expectation they'll be ready at launch, I highly recommend only buying singleplayer games that have been out for at least a year. Not only do you get a great discount, but most of the bugs are patched and you get the game as it was intended. Whatever the next big game is, don't get duped by the Hype, its never ready at launch.

  2. It's been 2 years, not 3. But I generally agree with most things you've mentioned in this video.

I played it at launch (on PC), and had a blast. My main complaint is that it should have been a more linear-focused story experience. The main story and major side quests are where the game shines the most. The whole open-world RPG aspect I felt like was half-assed and in my opinion, unecessary.
