  2. Couple of notes: there were cops outside when I first showed up, which prevented me from taking headshots. I saved the game, re-entered, and the cops were gone. Then at the end, Lucy froze up at the entrance and would not take a step further. I saved the game, re-entered, and she went very nicely into the escape vehicle. If you've already mentioned this trick for fixing dumb situations, my apologies. Oh, and I let the guy die, and I still got the "Preem work" praise.

When you drop one on the ground and leave the "zone" the game remembers that there's a slaught-o-matic in that place, and it disappears as soon as you leave the zone, but as soon as you re-enter the zone, it goes. . . Hey, there's supposed to be a slaught-o matic there. . . So it spawns a new one and drops it there. That's why it was a green one when you came back but was a white one when you dropped it.

    That might be a way to get more green materials. Drop a bunch of empties, leave and come back and see how many re-spawn as greens.
