Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is still several days away, and while it provides extensive new content, quests, the Relic tree and more, Update 2.0 is officially available. CD Projekt RED promised multiple new features, from improved combat AI and an overhauled police system to vehicular combat, and car chases.

Did it deliver? Yes, and then some. Let’s dive deep into some crazier changes with Update 2.0 and why players should start a new save to experience it.

  1. damn, im actually extremely impressed. I was one of the people who genuinely belived Projekt Red wasnt going to turn this game around. But damn. I'm very pleased to say I'm wrong as all hell. This update is truly phenomenal, and I can't even imagine what Phantom Liberty is also going to add. Very excited

  2. The devs literally did just have a list of all the most popular cyberpunk mods and integrate them into the game natively. Almost every part of the new features is like "oh, its that mods features". Even down to the enemies countering with their own sandevistan, and the driving changes. Wheres the train transport mod?

    Classic loll

  3. I don’t enjoy the Level capping and annoying new weapons system that is confusing. also not to mention half the “upgrades” to your characters functions in cybernetics is gone or just nerfed, and then get this they nerfed like most of the good guns and how it feels when playing especially with a controller just seems laggy and irritating. Don’t get me wrong I like the update with its graphical performance but tbh that’s about it the way everything works just isn’t the way I felt cyber punk was to be I know it launched poorly and the way it kept being updated was harsh but after it was handled it was like butter when playing. This tho….this update I’m sorry it just ruined it for me tbh/:

  4. Game runs really well with DLSS on my 2070 super now. It was always playable for me but now it's much smoother even when I turn the ray tracing way higher than I should for this GPU. I play in 2k since that is my monitor resolution so can't speak for 4k. Builds feel better in the early game.

  6. Damn. I’m on PS5. Tried playing last night after 2.0, and it crashed like 5 times in a row. It crashes right at the title screen. I use the physical disk version. I bought the DLC. Not sure what to do? Can’t play at all.
