The sequel to the disastrous 1.0 police system is here. It’s fun now and you get to see some new cool stuff. Check my pinned post for facts I forgot to mention and changes/fixes that CDPR implemented for 2.1 or later.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality.

God, enemy animations in this game are trash.
Who remembers the first mission where you save that lady from the the gang and one of the things they show you is the MaxTac team, and then you never see them again.
nice, this is a proper police system, your efforts are much apprechiated! Just wish there was an actual arrest mechanic, if cops shooot on sight for everything, it doesn't make them better than regular enemies, plus car chases are no fun
You didn't include Netwatch. They're pretty much the same as Trauma Team though so little to say.
You know if you glitch outside the border the dispatch police are the nomads
Cam you do a police behaviour analysis in saints row 3 remake it will be a lot of work
Didn't think netwatch involved themselves with this. Thought ncpd was the one hacking your vehicles.
I noticed the cops dont like it when you k!ll random enemys minding there own business, kinda odd because it says they are wanted
With such massive improvement and that's apparently not enough
Guess it's true when they say you really can't please everyone…
Hello again. The video is gorgeous. More recently, a new modification of the behavior and reaction behavior of the police in Cyberpunk has been released.
It is called the reform of Law Enforcement Overhaul. Please do a review on this mod. It turned out even better than in patch 2.0
Some mod features:
-This mod aims to expand that by greatly expanding the variety of what will follow you, including things like armored SWAT trucks, Mechs, Netwatch agents, Sheriff's deputies, detectives, MaxTac ground vehicles
–New units will not appear to you during the passage of the desired levels. These include: Detectives, Netwatch agents,
-The police use new vehicles and equipment: Military Behemoth NCPD, Minotaur mechs, Wyvern drone, Black Agent Villefort Cortez: unmarked version, Dreadnought Thorton Merrimack MSP3: NCPD SUV.

You gotta do the Saints Row franchise
Never understood why people complained about the police, its like criticizing Witcher 3 or Skyrim because the guards dont climb on their horses to chase you like they do in RDR1. This game isnt GTA, the police is like the last reason why you're supposed to buy it. Its like as soon as a game takes place in a city where you can drive cars all the casuals instantly think its supposed to be some GTA clone even if in reality its all the opposite, its like if i complained that GTA only has one playstyle and doesnt have talent trees and multiple builds, scripted missions that give you a game over if you try to leave or doesnt have choices during dialogues
I have close to 300 hours on Cyberpunk 2077 since launch, but I find the cop update extremely immersion breaking. Even during my first playthrough during launch, I typically don't interact with police as I focus more on Gigs but after launching a new playthrough with PL I noticed the Cop Spawning is extremely weird. I have no idea why there are so many deadbeat cops wandering around in areas deep in Maelstrom territory in Watson, seeing 1 cop stroll around every street feels off. Also, at night usually Maelstrom blocks certain streets off at night shooting guns but cops don't do anything about it. It just feels extremely filler and would much prefer less walking cops since they don't really do anything anyway.
However, while I don't really mess around with Cop's I appreciate CDPR trying to fill it out and improve upon on the content but from what I can tell so far, they gotta really work on the AI if possible. I think CDPR is having trouble primarily due to the Engine limitations on AI behaviour which limits interactions that can be done.
waiting for Godfather 2006 police analys)
Watchdogs 1 and 2's police system are still better than this game….
2.1 Update:
Patrol cars responding at 1-star will now have their lights and sirens running.
The volume of the sirens have also been increased. These are unlisted changes.
Is this the phantom livery version of the game?
You should do the analysis on the GTA Stories games.
Its funny how you can just hit a wall and then be immediately shot for it
Ive seen vileforts undercover police cars but you cant enter them
do a saints row 3 remake police behavior analysis
I was in santo domingo and ended up watching a cop shoot a gang member that was surrending just for the hell of it. It's pretty cool to catch things like that every now and then to remind you that the NCPD isn't exactly a clean department
Hi! Why is there no new content for so long? We are waiting for more reviews of the behavior of cops in games.😉
We are waiting for a video about the behavior of law enforcement agencies in such games Just Cause 1-2, Saints Row 2
Maybe at some point you can do a police analysis on GTA V's mod "Realism Dispatch Enhanced", as they improve on the police system and add multiple new departments, improving on the game's police npcs!
New siren is horrible
Postal 2 Police Analysis
Can you make a police analysis in NFS Rivals?
extremely thorough analysis! great work!
a bit disappointed that the chatter in 2077 is so lacking comparing to games like GTA, Watchdogs, NFS or even Mafia, aside from responding to 1 star calls there's nearly no voicelines for officers pursuing you ("gonna pit him", "officer down need backup", "suspect moving southbound", "anyone checking the alleyway".etc).
If you want to have some purely cat and mouse car chase fun, try this:
Rules:
1. You cannot use any quickhacks at all.
2. You can only shoot from vehicle, not outside it.
3. You cannot use any external mods affecting your health
4. You can only use (borrow) other people's vehicles, including the Police. 4a. Later, you can use your own vehicles when you become a better driver.
5. You start the police alerts by running over an NCPD officer or more.
6. You increase stars by running over, escaping and other damage using only your vehicle.
7. You increase star alert level while escaping chases, not shooting necessarily.
8. You must escape Maxtac, multiple times if you get good.
9. Bonus points if your character is under level 40.
The object is to get really good in escaping the inevitable tornado of violence the NCPD and MaxTac will place on you.
Obviously, you will need to borrow multiple vehicles and you can drag the police response to your select gang for extra fun.
If you get really good, they will give up the chase and just sit in their vehicles waiting for you to show up, while certain law enforcement will be crawling the city searching and chasing you.
For the hardcore, do all this while in 1st person driving mode and use rear cameras to record the trail of devastation.
As an example, I've escaped MaxTac successive droppoints 3 times in a row purely by driving. To end the game, you can log off or just enter a known safe zone.
I'm having more fun with this then the actual game.
Hours long FUN. 😄
Bonus FUN: Drag a slew of police to the narrow pier (which pier is your choice), object is to stay in a vehicle on the pier, while dunking the incoming police vehicles. My record thus far is 6 police vehicles before I dunked myself. I took underwater photos of it. Loads of FUN. 😀
@58:23 The NCPD DO USE the Merrimac MSP3 Dreadnought in chase duties. I've had multiple of them chase me around town full of trigger happy officers. I don't remember seeing it in patrol though.
Likely the latest patch enabled that.
Love how real sirens just make you go, "oh shit cops" it's like the NCPD deliberately designed their sirens to cause distress and despair
It's almost as if the absence of helicopter snipers and shit make for a more engaging and fair police experience
Police disappears too fast, you hide like maybe 10 seconds or 20 and they're gone. When cars find you they don't engage in pursuit because the AI is simplistic. It just rams you in the opposite lane. The only cool moments is when they actually try to engage pursuit from behind, which can be short in duration or just rare
Got into a traffic accident? Execution.
Hit a wall by accident? Execution.
Police Behaviour Analysis in L.A. Noire please.
corrupt since the 20's, so corrupt that now can be considered a gang, except its listed on the stock exchange, and honest, uncorrupt cops are a bane to every other badge that have eddies in their pocket, including the current commisioner, previously the head of dataterm sales dep, who "reconstructed" the police force to the advantage of the corpo-rats.
oh, and the suspect the badges near the dogtown gate were chasing? its the media chick that would sic the netwatch agents on you after selling the data from cynosure.
Its 50 something years in the future and they dont use flying cars
