Cyberpunk 2077 is like an onion. You gotta peel back its layers to reveal everything it has to offer. But if you cut it up too quickly, the experience will end in tears. Ok – maybe this analogy is falling apart a little bit. My point is – there are a lot of ways to play this game and even if you have a lot of experience with Cyberpunk there may be some very useful things you missed along the way.

But that ends today, because in this video, we’re going to explore 10 tips and tricks I wish I knew earlier when playing Cyberpunk 2077.

  1. Double jump plus air dash…..almost faster than a car. Jump air dash then jump in quick succession. On ps5 be running in a direction then tap X square x very quickly and you go really fast.

  2. Question: Since 2.0 I’m playing stealth and every time I use a quick hack to take town an enemy, the trace pops up and they find me. Is there a way to prevent the trace during stealth runs?

  3. RE: Netrunners: in the intel tree there's a perk called "Counter-a-hack" which lets you cast optical reboot on a netrunner that's hacking you through any walls to prevent hacks in progress.

  4. 11 – some junk vendors can sell perk points and skill xp shards
12 – food vendors sell items that permanently buff you. These are very small, like 2% STA regen, but still.

  5. Don't Listen to the advice against breaking down gray weapons for components, you can only Upgrade Iconic weapons however ALL CYBERWARE is Upgradable and there NOT CHEAP on component costs and components are harder to acquire in terms of farming especially after 2.01

  6. 2:45 dude you get 1 crafting component per clothing item dismantled, whereas with guns it's 5 or 7, depending upon whether it's tier/tier+… and weapons are undoubtedly more prevalent in NC,

So good luck trying to upgrade iconic weapons by following this point, it'll take you literally hundreds of hours.

  7. Someone already mentioned it but just to reinforce, if you're being hacked, hack the netrunner. You can do it through any and all walls. It will spread any quickhack to all enemies in the room, including all ultimates. Best one I've found is the one that renders the enemy unconscious. Use it on a netrunner, and now you have 10+ enemies instantly asleep.

  8. I use the sprint speed legs instead of the jump legs. I just find it more useful, especially with a squishy build since some perks make you harder to hit the faster you are moving.

  9. The most important thing some people I know wished they knew … was that you have to be a girl to bang Judy.
Ok, I'm exaggerating a little, but Judy's date is the best in the whole game.

  10. Two more tips:
PICK UP EVERYTHING – you can convert junk into common crafting componenets and then convert them to green components for a 5 to 1 ratio. This will give you more components AND level up your Engineering skill. Win-win
VISIT FOOD VENDORS – there are some later food and drink items that give permanent bonuses

  11. Only thing I don’t like about reinforced tendons is that they’re TOO good. It would be nice to have two leg and two arm cyberware that you could equip at a time especially since Leeroy Ligaments and Jenkins’ Tendons are basically meant to be used at the same time lmao. But also V being able to use Mantis Blades and the Projectile Launch System just makes too much sense.

  12. The new rules for hacking, including stacking quickhacks, are the bomb. You can often get bonuses for stacking one of each type of quickhack and Weapon Glitch is a good starter.

  13. I'm playing through all of the base game ncpd scanner hustles and gigs before starting the phantom liberty dlc and at lvl 57 I can say that I have never run out of money having never sold weapons after around level 10 and just using all weapons and clothing (minus the ones that give buffs for wearing em) as crafting mats. You do need the crafting mats to upgrade your gear as you go if you want to stay ahead of the purchase/drop curve. And lots of things just don't drop at the levels you can upgrade them to with mats. I've only purchased a Shion Coyote and a van (for transporting bodies for photo ops) but my cyberware slots are all full with tier 5 to 5++ level gear and the iconic weapons I use are all 5 or better. Mats are far more valuable than cash, at least before getting to the new zone, which I am blind on.

  14. Clothing only nets you one crafting component of the associated tier, weapons grant you either 5 or 7 if it's a + tier, and once you get into tier 5, the ++give you 15. Money is way easier to get just through breaching access points and selling the plethora of quickhacks you acquire. I easily sell enough to take all of a vendors money while still having a shit ton left over.
