I’m switching between a lot of ray tracing settings in the entire video to test almost all ray tracing combinations on that GPU.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing game developed and published by CD Projekt. The story takes place in 2077 at Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customisable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 was developed using the REDengine 4 by a team of around 500, exceeding the number that worked on the studio’s previous game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015). CD Projekt launched a new division in Wrocław, Poland, and partnered with Digital Scapes, Nvidia, QLOC, and Jali Research to aid the production. Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith was a consultant, and actor Keanu Reeves has a starring role. The original score was led by Marcin Przybyłowicz, featuring the contributions of several licensed artists.

It has been released for Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. The game received acclaim for its world design, characters, role-playing experience, and innovation, but criticism for poor technical performance.

  1. THIS VIDEO STILL PROCESSES, THERE WILL BE A 4K VIDEO OPTION LATER ON!
Please give this video a thumbs up & comment to help the youtube algorithm 🙂
With the recent Patch 1.2 AMD cards do now support ray tracing.

  2. Resident evil village did better with AMD than cyberpunk 2077. i think it's just the game itself. Remember the Witcher 3 has problems with the FPS even when the game doesn't run RayTracing on AMD? that was horrid. CDPR needs to FIX all of that so we can finally play it on RT.

  3. I just bought a 6800 XT. I went for it because it actually Exists lol. I'm on a 2080 Super at the Moment. The 6800 XT will let me do real 4K 60/120 Gaming without gimmicks. This will be my 1st AMD Card. What's great is I get it on the 22nd. So I will be able to test FSR(Which I do not think is going to beat DLSS. I wish people would stop calling it AMD DLSS.) on Day One.

  4. I thought patches have improved performance?! Bought it yesterday and tried on RX 6900 XT 2,4 Ghz and 5900x 4,8 GHz all cores. Get fps dips into the low 80s while driving and even to 60 at very crowded areas. Wtf Iam even at 1080p within gpu limit at witcher 3 (> 200 fps with hairworks off) and my cpu seem to not being able to handle this game well? Load is averaging 35 to 40 percent.

  5. Did you ever run into system restarts when playing Cyberpunk on that card? I have been unable to play that game for more than a few mins to an hour before my system restarts and the video won't restore

  6. I have the 6800 XT, Gigabyte's AUROS Master with the 5600x. I run everything 100-120 FPS on all my games on ultra other than Cyberpunk and RDR2 at the moment which are about the same, around 70-90 FPS.

I am running three AW3420DW monitors. That said, they are G-sync compatible.
