Before the 1.6 update I would use the target analysis crafting spec to farm eddies but they changed the value of that item from close to $800 to $100. Recently I noticed a legendary crafting spec for a Lightning Rider Reinforced Racing Suit in my inventory worth over $1600 at level 30 that just needs the Edgerunner Artisan perk and three crafting components easily obtained from junk dealers. The racing suit spec is supposed to automatically unlock when you reach crafting level 12, though it doesn’t seem to be present in saves made with older versions of the game.

The more you invest in crafting perks, the more you can make using this method (from a few hundred to thousands per item). The value increases as you level up thus increasing the profit over time.

I also rather like the look of the racing suit if you get the Momentum Carbon-Reinforced Visored Helmet to go with it, which can be obtained from one of the Assault in Progress scanner hustles in Japantown. The look matches the ARCH Nazare, which is the fastest bike you can buy in the current version of the game, matching the top speed of the ARCH Nazare Itsumade that can be obtained for free by completing the Highwayman side job. The Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X used to be faster but the devs seem to have nurfed that in recent versions of the game.
