I wonder if the other ‘faction’ is actually mercs from the afterlife hired to assassinate V and whoever else is allied with them. I don’t have any evidence for this but it would be cool to see that be the case
The main story was meant to be this race against the clock to save your life. It really doesn’t make sense to have the dlc before the ending of the main story.
Everyone is saying this reeks of espionage and spy thriller… nope. I don't get that. The air ship, the fact that it takes place in the walled off combat zone, the way in one cutscene they're descending into the depths. No, guys. This isn't a spy thriller… this is a riff on Escape from New York.
So this is "Escape from New York" Cyberpunk 2077 style and we are Snake Pliskin. "Hey Snake I heard you were dead."
Wonder what's up with Lazarus. Maybe it is Blackhand in the trailer, but he died in Arasaka Tower. Lazarus, most likely named after the Christian myth of Lazarus, has been implanted with an AI. His corpse being used by MiliTech hardware to keep fighting even in death.
I wonder if the face cyberware is actually the same neon mask we see other people in the trailer wearing.
I see why we don't have NG+ the DLC is part of main story
10:25 would be cool if cars like those that have their windows covered with metal plating protect you more against vehicle combat shootings. Where if you drive a regular with regular windows you can take a lot of dmg, but if you are driving an armored car like that or a caliburn and guinevere, you are protected and don’t take dmg unless the enemy is shooting a tech weapon which can go through structures.
I’m dealing hoping this realism is brought to life and that would incentive a car choice for certain missions in the expansion.
That dude is probably the president of NUSA, and that bar his it's hideout with his closest guards, he will send you to find who wants to kill him, end of story
When will this DLC take place within the timeline? If it takes place afterwards, does that mean there's a Canon ending if Johny is still alive?
I dont think this DLC is taking place after the ending. Think it's somewhere in the middle of the story kind of how HZD did its dlc expansions
If this events occurred before the point of no retourn, Imagine if the DLC add a new ending for the original game story. The new end could be a new choice for V to get help from some one from the government…
Morgan Blackhand is the Solo´s solo. The in-game avatar of creator Mike Pondsmith, no less. That´s why Pondmith is keeping him out of the game. As for Lazarus Group: Both the founder of Militech and that of the Lazarus Group were in great terms until LG decided not to join forces with Militech during the Fourth Corp war, which ended their long standing cooperation.
The CIA, FBI, DEA and NSA, also known as The Gang of Four in the CP2020 lore were disbanded soon after the 1996-2008 Martial Law period ended. The FIA could most probably be a mix between the FBI and the CIA, an agency formed to replace the former traditional intelligence agencies. Can´t wait to see how this plays out in the lore. Been into the universe since 1990, CP is pretty much my "Game of Thrones" saga.
What I don't get is the President of NUSA is Rosalind Myers, who has a blue hair.

The problem with Cyberpunk is that I don't like V. Depressing, terminally ill junkie, V is a miserable loser. I was hoping they would introduce a new playable character.
The Duke of Night City's guys shot it down and in this expansion you
play the role of Snake Plissken that goes in to rescue the president.
79 might not be a corporate war per se. Instead, it might be the civil war within saka Goro warned us about.
I'm betting they will try to tell some Escape from NY style story, because they have no original ideas. None of this fixes the crappy AI in the game already.
