  1. I wonder if it can save the 'vibe' of the game. It's so bizarre for V to be running around doing random gigs for fixers knowing there is a very short timescale to save their own life. Such a weird narrative decision and I CANNOT understand why it was done that way, no matter how much I think about it.

  2. Looking forward to playing this expansion. I wonder when it would be best to play? It can't be after the main campaign since this may give V an out from the previous endings, but it also wouldn't make sense trying to play this as a low-level gonk. I'm guessing it will unlock after you hit a certain level?

  3. Say WHAT! Okay don't give me hope like this! Now I am going to be thinking ANYTHING is possible. You know like Shepard showing up to save the day. Okay, okay that's a bit much.

  4. I stopped playing this 3 years ago. All I remember was bugs, crashing and bugs. Played through once, done and disappointed. Without the fanboys opinion is this game really worth my time?

  5. I hope they can fix V’s body the problem wasn’t getting the chip out the problem was the chip did to much damage to the body to where only Johnny can live in it so I hope song bird can some how fix the damage already done to V’s body

  6. Having been aware of this for over a year thanks to CDPR themselves having all the dialogue leaked in the next gen update last year, the ending is still grim. But it does open up for a sequel. Won't get into too much spoilers, but it's not a happy ending as that would be terrible writing honestly, but all I can say is V lives. That is why it is called Phantom Liberty. And the ending is also part of the Devil Ending, but that could change.

  7. Having just finished the game 100%, this carrot dangle with Songbird is a big question mark. IF V can be saved, then will you be put back into the game saved? or back to the point of no return.

  8. I've theorized in the past with friends that the relic tech is probably designed to make a copy of the host's mind it is slotted in before doing anything. That kind of sneaky strings attached BS would be perfectly in line for Arasaka to do. So, if correct, that means there's a ''copy'' of the original V stored on the relic (probably waiting to be downloaded into Mikoshi). Songbird maybe able to ''activate'' the copy or stop the current processes of turning V into Johnny (though that option has some pretty shitty implications).

  9. Wait wait wait, IDRIS ELBA? IN CYBERPUNK?! I honestly wasn't expecting to buy Cyberpunk- ever- but uh… seeing some more actors I know and hearing a lot of good things with the DLC? I'm reconsidering.

  10. am i the only one who doesnt really want a "nice" ending for cyberpunk, i feel like every ending is perfect in its own way. for me the meaning of the game is how you cant escape death how V dies once just to come back to life and fight just to keep being alive for a little bit longer

  11. I am on the fence about this. Part of me cannot wait till it comes out and i can see if it is broken and if not i will get it.
On the other hand the way 2077 came out the lies that were told I have to say 'how dare you charge for this after what you did.'

  12. There's got to be at least 3 new endings for the DLC. Obviously one if we fail, and the other two are for who we side with in phantom liberty. It would be lame if we didn't have any choice in the DLC that effect the ending.

  13. If they allow V to save themselves, tying it with a heavy consequence could be interesting and would keep in tone with the rest of the game's theme. Otherwise, it would diminish all the other endings imo.

  14. ik 100 percent some other channel has said this somewhere but, v could get someone from PL dlc help to obtain mikoshi or alt again, but give him a new body rather than have the choice of die as v or live as johnny, i think that could happen with some big consequences, like v is now property of the NUSA similar to arasakas mikoshi but he is physically alive just now a permanent sleeper within night city giving him a phantom liberty

  15. While I commend CDPR for continually fixing and updating the game, charging $30 for the DLC, specially without NG+ added and the story ripped off from Escape from New York, is a bit over the top, at least for me.

  16. There was a leak sometime ago of a cut out ending. Where you have to betray all of your friends and even sell out Vik to the Arasakas (because he knew about the relic’s tech) in order to get the cure from them. it results in V becoming an asset to the corporation and following Hanako back to Japan. Also If you choose the devils ending and decide to get back to earth you will get a message from Hanako asking you to work for her. So there might be some truth to that leak. In any case if the game decides to offer V a real chance of survival the price to pay for it will be definitely heavy.

  17. What Suzi Hunter was saying has me worried. No armor for clothes ? Separate buttons for dodge ?
Play Patch 1.06 , Patch 1.31 , and Patch 1.62 ; each is like it's own game with the strategy differences. YouTube content for Cyberpunk needs to be filtered by date. Sometimes, flaws are fun.

  18. There is no way songbird knows of a cure. She's straight up lying and is just using V. At best she could find someone to delay the effects if she isn't double crossing you. Even Arasaka's Anders Hellman couldn't figure it out. Whatever new ending we get…it's not going to be a good one. As Johnny said, "Wrong City, Wrong People".

  19. Just be prepared for CDP to rip the rug out from under you. Night City has no happy endings, remember? And IF V does get a way out, whoi pays the price? No such thing as a free lunch.
