  1. I honestly think this was CDPRs marketing strategy to begin with.
Think of it if the game came out great the marketing would just stop form everyone that's free.
I mean every game they release is like cyberpunk.
People also forget the origin release window was Late 2022 until people start sending death threats as will sending hate mail.

  3. once the Witcher comes out and they release the subpar dlc for cyberpunk and when they don't make any sales or have fans come back then thats it the games gana fall out of the circle of development

  4. Should I say that Witcher update was making by Saber Interactive, who is suddenly Russian? Well, not quite but you've got the idea. The modern principle "let's cancel the Russians and we'll be fine" in nutshell.

  5. I wonder how many people are kinda like myself who; I bought the reserve copy and played day one on a PS4. I love the concept, it’s a cool story and I see so much potential in the game. When the game was stabilized I finished the campaign and thought it was great though the release left a sour taste in my mouth. However since release I’ve purchased a gaming PC and I’m super ready to give CDPR more of money but I want to make sure the game isn’t going to be dead when I buy it. I want to know that it’s still going to be expanded upon, you know?

  6. They said major updates on this awful game are over. So is my time purchasing their games. Even their big hit, Witcher 3, was vastly overrated. This is a bunch of clowns that don't have the skill or the talent to pull off a game at the scale of Cyberpunk. They should never have been given the license. I would have loved to hear the level of bullshit they spewed out to get such a great IP when they don't have the talent at any level to pull it off. CDPR's a joke.

  7. how are they satisfied with cyberpunk??? the new patch made my game unable to even launch no matter how much troubleshooting i do and they didn’t even add anything useful!!

  8. They better hope they get the dlc out before summer of 2023 or by then Starfield will probably have a dlc by then. not mention there a ton of other big games coming out in 2023 not just two you mentioned Baldur's Gate 3 coming out in 2023 among other big games. cyberpunk will get left in dust if push there dlc out to far.

  9. I love Cyberpunk, it had a fun story, interesting characters, cool mechanics and I have completed the game with multiple endings multiple times. But by 2023 there will be so many more games to play I highly doubt I'd be interested in returning, especially if it's a paid purchase expansion

  10. what if now this is a long shot but they where to work the assets for the CP2077 into unreal 5's engine so that way they can introduce multiplayer in more smoother fashion and make working on newer content easier in the long run

  11. I hope they're abandoning multiplayer for CP. Its a single player rpg. All focus on the game should be on what the game is supposed to be. Single player. Not at any stage have I had any desire for multi-player.

No expansion till 2023 is so very disappointing. Maybe there's a silver lining. Maybe they've learned from their mistake in releasing the game long before it was ready. Maybe the expansion will actually be a significant amount of new content. Maybe it will be properly polished and be well recieved. At this point, CDPR reputation is hugely caught up in CP's success or fail. If they do release a sizeable expansion that's got some real RPG, actual options and choices. No game-breaking bugs. It could really turn around public opinion of the game and company.

If the expansion was handled like the base game, released early and just not ready. Utterly failing to meet expectations. It'll be more nails in the coffin for faith in the company. With the success of patch 1.5, a long wait until an expansion could be a good thing. Time for people to forget their grievances with the game. Time for people to jump back in and give patch 1.5 a go. See how much better the game is in its current state. Allow people's expectations for the expansion to improve. If the expansion delivers the things people want, improved AI, especially with police. Increased difficulty. Actual RPG elements. Athleticism overhaul. New content. Things to do post end-game. It could be a real winner. CP could end up being a great game that's remembered fondly. Rather than the bitter disappointment its largely been.

I don't see any point in multi-player in CP. There's nothing to do in game after the main story, which was easy on the hardest difficulty. Co-op or more would only make the game even easier. And highlight the lack of things to do.

I'd bet any ideas they had for multi-player were from a financial perspective. Hoping they could get in on some of the GTA online cash cow. Multi-player would surely come with micro-transactions and earn more disdain from the community.

Any desire to have a multi-player Cyberpunk experience should be removed from 2077. If they want a multi-player CP it should be a whole new game. Built on UE5. With multi-player being designed into the game from the beginning. A co-op RPG in the CP theme could be awesome. If it was built to be that from the ground up. Adding in multi-player to an already flawed game I just don't see that working out.

  12. According to CDPR (and, well, yeah – take their word with a pinch of salt now after Cyberpunk's launch) we were supposed to get about as much DLC content dropped on Cyberpunk 2077 as we got for the Witcher 3. So… If true (again, big if), they are either committed to supporting this game out to like 2025 at this pace with us getting so little in the way of content in the past YEAR AND A HALF that it can't be compared to Witcher 3's content whatsoever… Or these expansions are going to be absolutely massive. My guess? We get neither and we don't end up getting as much DLC content for Cyberpunk 2077 as we got for the Witcher 3. Whatever. So long as they release modding tools and let their fans fix/finish their game for them is all I ask for at this point. Modders have already done some great work on the game and they don't even have the proper tools for mod development. Imagine what they could do with it.

  13. Honestly, the fact of them focusing on Unreal Engine 5 is welcomed news to me. Unreal 5 is just incredible for what it's capable of and is very versatile and more optimized than it has any right to be. As we saw with Matrix Awakens UE5 tech demo, the possibilities with the engine are just insane – and doing so in real time and with consoles no less. Unreal is easier to code for than proprietary engines, as well. Modding is also a long-established practice on Unreal engine series and should eventually be possible for UE5. The only downside to licensing Unreal 5 is… having to work with EPIC Games. But so long as it's not an EPIC exclusive, and there's no reason it should be considering Playstation Store and Xbox Live aren't EPIC Games partners and Matrix Awakens was released on them.
