CD Projekt Red has delayed all further updates and DLC for ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ to 2022.

In an updated roadmap, published on the ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ website, all “updates, improvements, and free DLCs” can now be expected in 2022, rather than towards the end of this year as previously shown.

The new roadmap ends 2021 with patch 1.31 for the title, which was released back in September and fixed a number of issues related to gameplay, visual glitches and console-specific bugs.

CD Projekt didn’t provide a reason for the delay, but this does come after the developer recently announced ‘Cyberpunk 2077’s next-gen upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S have been pushed to Q1 2022.

In a production update posted to Twitter, CD Projekt wrote: “We have an important update regarding next generation updates of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for consoles and PC. Based on recommendations supplied by teams supervising the development of both games, we decided to postpone their releases until 2022.
“Our current target for Cyberpunk 2077 is the first quarter of 2022, and second quarter of 2022 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.”
