  1. Regarding the section at 4:22 … you're not realizing that there were most likely other bugs that we've never seen that were fixed with the day one patch. His statement makes perfect sense when you consider it from the perspective of the game having more bugs pre-release than it did post-release, and that many of them were fixed up to the wire, leaving others unnoticed. The fixing they are referring to are most likely for other bugs.

Classic case of too many bugs, not enough time to fix them all. This can totally happen in software when developers are pressed by executives to meet overbearing deadlines. Bugs get fixed, but other issues are created in the process. So it sounds very plausible that they didn't see the same issues we saw. They had a list of bugs to fix leading up to release, fixed them, but didn't spend enough time after fixing their list to find the newer ones we saw.

The main problem with this, is that the general populace and folks like yourself (no offense here) don't understand software development in this manner, so it sounds the way you described.

Side note: the review process and release was a general fiasco. Please don't assume what I've said above means I absolve them of wrongdoing. I just want to provide some perspective.

  2. How to fix the game: stop developing for old gen consoles entirely they knew the issues on old gen there is no way they did ont see any bugs or low preformance they probably test on dev hardware that is not the same as the consumer consoles

  3. Well of course they believed they were going deliver if they hadn't seen the bugs, that makes total sense. The problem, as you said afterwards, was that there was no way they didn't see the bugs beforehand.

  4. You don't know what you don't know. While testing and fixing a small portion of mechanisms available in the game, they might've thought that they are making big progress, but they overlooked the remaining parts. At least that's how I inderstand it🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. Excuses and damage control. The Corporatists rats wanted and demanded money as always. This is why we do NOT WANT penny pinchers within 100 lightyears of the gaming industry. Politicians and corpos need to gtf out of our world. They need to use all that scammed money they make and build a space shape and leave us tf alone. Those DLCs better be fkn free.

  6. I spoke about this issue with a close friend of mine who is chief executive of a video game company about why he thinks such a well-established company could have gotten it so wrong. He hypothesized that the problem came from mostly 2 things: disorganization/miscommunication between devs and leadership team, and letting the developers go overboard on monster PCs in house. This results in a very poorly optimized game, even for heavy-duty PCs like the one I use. For example, with an RTX2070, 34 gigs of ram, and the second-best Ryzen cpu, I can only run the game in MEDIUM graphics in 4k (only the 5th best graphic setting). Every single other game I play runs on the highest graphics in 4k with at least 30fps. Despite this huge lack of optimization, Cyberpunk was marketed for consoles even though they clearly didn't design the game with that technology in mind, so that's completely on them. The reason why this is a mistake on their part is that you normally want to work bottom-up. My friend explained that once you have a solid game that is optimized, bug-free, and runs smoothly on the lower-end consoles, THEN you can work on adding to it further to for the higher-end stuff. If you do the opposite, like they did, it's like decorating a house before renovating it.

  7. I don't have that many bugs on my Xbox One X release of the game, as everyone else is having. I have seen like one bug in the whole time that I played the game. I did get the second update before I started playing the game though. I love this game, and I am still playing this game on my Xbox One X. This is my experience, and my experience alone.

  8. Well they are still a company, I understand most of the lies that are still in this statement, that doesn't mean I like it, but I expected nothing less from a company… in the end it turned out better then I thought. Be in mind, that they need to avoid angry investors, when the CEO says its his fault you can count on the investors wanting to see this head roll.

  9. I think your hating on the CD project red simply to hate on CD project red, they promised they would fix it and frankly I'm happy with that. You should just give them time to fix it.

Love your videos man but I have to completely disagree with you!

  10. Well I personally think they shouldn't have released it for the xbox one because its clearly not capable of running the game it doesn't take a qualified tester to see that last gen consoles were too slow for next gen titles and I think we're going to end up with the same situation as the xbox 360 where we have two separate versions of each new title for the next year or so which seems like wasted effort to me personally

  11. I’ve only played the “prologue” of the game and I’ve enjoyed it but the main problem is that I want even get past 21fps, and that’s after I’ve made FPS changes to my pc I.e. task manager & nividia control centre settings
