CD project deserves nothing less. Shame for the Devs and their hard work but the company as a whole deserves all this pain for the way they treated the consumers with their lies and deceit.

The games code is not so important. It can just help cheating in multiplayer ones, so here, no big threat for their big titles. The engine is just a modern engine using ghe same techniques as any modern one. Maybe they have some nice internal tools some chinese company may want to "acquire" ?
with source code you can just re create the whole game ,change code,mechanics models,textures,quests,items,maybe republish it as "cybertron 2088" and make tons of money

Some people are quite an ar*e for questioning CDPR took that hacked event as an excuse to delay. Good for you not knowing any hardship in game development.
CDPR have no excuse. They had cyber security issues before but did nothing to address the issue. And I am so tired of hearing the game was rushed, it was in development for 8+ years. Better games have been produced in far less time
