Casting A Huge Machete From Cyberpunk 2077 – Sand Casting Aluminum At Home

Read more about Cyberpunk 2077➜ https://cyberpunk2077.mgn.tv

In this video I’ll be melting down some scrap aluminum ingots and casting the machete from the game Cyberpunk 2077. I started with a 3D model that I found online and made a mold of it in petrobond sand. I then melted down the aluminum ingots until it was a liquid metal and poured it into the mold. I finished it by grinding and sanding down the rough edges and painting the handle black. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and hit that Subscribe button for more.

  1. Love it man. Came out great. Ya know I was thinking, I think the next step for the channel could be basically a restoration video, except it would be just fine tuning your cast like filling voids, squaring up with files, sharpening blades, adding hardware, leather wrapping for handles, ect. I just got caught up in a moment of wondering what this blade would look like with another 10-20 hours of work on it and thought,"Damn that could be a whole separate string of vids" and thought I'd share my thoughts. Love what you do regardless. Stay safe and happy melting.

  2. Nice work but I am of the opinion that painting the handle is a mistake. I would have cast an alu-bronze handle onto it to make it really stand out, but I understand that you didn't want to mix metals when you go to weigh it in for scrap in the future.
Nice work and many thanks for making this video.

  3. 3:34 – almost expecting to see:
"cardboard under crucible prevents fire brick from sticking."
pop up on my screen, even tho I know it's the other guy who says that.
Your video style & his are surprisingly similar… must be part of it.

  4. That was great. Gave me some ideas on what I have done wrong trying to make that old lumberjack 2 man hand saw with rings on the end for handles. Almost had given up after over a dozen failures. Well time to try again.

  5. If you can find it try VENOM fruit punch. They are .99 cents. Tastes way better than monster and is much worse for ya lol. Also on a hot day like that why not stick the fernace outside so it doesnt heat up your garage.
