Welcome to a tutorial for the futuristic cosplayers of the world. We’ll go straight into Night City and grab ourselves a do-it-yourself Cyberpunk 2077 style radio.
In the game’s prologue, V, the player’s character, is tasked to steal a significant piece of tech from a corporation. Things go sideways, and our companion Jackie meets their demise.
After delivering the tech, V is betrayed by their contractor and left for dead in a landfill – possibly due to the aforementioned chip of immortality – but quickly realizes they are to be haunted by the digital ghost of Johnny Silverhand (modeled after Keanu Reeves).
After making their way out, our character uses a special radio device to contact their clan for help. That’s the prop that we’re teaching you how to make today.
And to do exactly that, we’ll be modding and customizing a touchscreen iPod. We’ll use a range of materials from metal to foam to make this DIY prop, so check out the link below for the full list of required components and equipment.
