  1. Lovin' the playthrough!
Especially the way you switch your weapons for the task at hand.
You really are becoming a Pro at this game. Keep it up and you may become better than I!

  2. That was some gutpunch when I played it.
Watching someone who was introduced to us as a strongwilled personality getting completely broken and going down in a corner rather than in a blaze of glory. But it fits the setting well.

  3. Lots of cruel, mocking behaviour on display here:
    – Apologizing for a severed limb (again) after killing the owner of said limb.
    – Next level trolling of that poor guy in the trunk.

  4. This part always hits me quite hard because reminds me of my best friend anc actual ex-dirlfrind… She has some mental illness issues and i had to call the police once because she cut herself in the bathtub too (not with the intention to kill herself tho…)
Anyway, still loving your playthrough and im getting addicted to your series so, keep up the great work

  5. Only just now I noticed how the gig with Sergei references Keanu Reeves in John Wick. A hitman with a dog, him looking plain and not at all "breathtaking", a Russian regretting he messed with him as well as the whole car thing.

  6. Apparently some (all?) the mission names in Cyberpunk are song titles. I looked up 'Both Sides Now' since I wasn't familiar with it and wondered what it meant/how it was relevant… and, wow:

Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
    And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at Clouds that way

But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But Clouds got in my way

I've looked at Clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
    It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know Clouds at all

  7. Evelyn's death caught me by surprise when it happened on my playthrough. For some reason I always expected her to play this active and vital role in the story, where a bunch of times she'd either save or trap us, always having her own motives and all. From the moment we met her I saw her as this Catwoman figure. But her disappearing instead; being victim of a brain hack, treating her as worthless junk, sold off, eventually taking her own life to escape the pain, it's the most real yet tragic way to end her story.

  8. Poor Evelyn, another victim in the war between metal and meat. A low point in this roller-coaster tale but a tragedy so fitting to showcase the cyberpunk theme. The emotions you feel pouring through now serve to remind you that staying human is more important than ever. Good episode Welonz.

  9. That last scene hits pretty hard. Imo they did a good job both in writing and acting when dealing with sensitive subjects like here, which there are many in the story and is not as easy as it might seem at all.
ps: on that first mission there was a computer on the table at 5:34, for these missions with a bigger setting there are usually several shards or computers to give a good idea of what was going on. The guy called them workers on his shard, but they were really captive slaves.

  10. You never know what someone might want when you ask if you need anything. For all you know, they could really use a drink and ask you to get some. I know that’s what it was like at my dad’s wake. Someone asked if I needed anything, and I asked for a bottle of liquor.

  11. 10:50 In fact, the black-and-white panda is written in Chinese as "大熊猫", literally meaning "big panda" or "giant panda". And the "little panda" ("小熊猫", pronounced "xiao xiong mao", literally "little panda") actually refers to the ginger panda.

Edit (add): If you want to call a black-and-white panda, and it's small, the correct Chinese term is "小大熊猫" (and the direct translation is "little giant panda", which is really weird, I know).

  12. Gotta say, not a fan on how they handled Evelyn. It felt like the worst parts of Witcher 3 for me, like the Whoreson Junior quest
I said "shut the fuck up" out loud at the exact same time you did to Johnny. Christ, he's insufferable sometimes.

  13. Woodman definitely deserves to die, and Fingers is creeping, but Wakako is the one who gave Evelyn to the Scavs at the powerplant. Fingers mentions her by name as his fixer, and that she arranged the pickup. Maybe you should invite yourself to dinner?
