  1. If us gamers think that the video game industry will learn anything from this, we are like a battered spouse who thinks their abuser will change because they say they are sorry. The only way we change this is to stop buying these over-promised under delivered games. The consumers have the power, we just also have the addiction to playing the latest and greatest. Until we figure out what is actually important. Big game devs will take advantage of us. That is true for any industry and the game industry is no exception.

  3. Well… this is why I'm moving more and more into indie-games… Quality over quantity; aka money isn't everything. Indie devs are into their games, more than ever. While playing Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Satisfactory, Terraria or Binding of Isaac, you can just feel the quality and time that went into these games… you just don't get that feel with AAA-games anymore. Only expectation is Rockstar.. for now, that is.

I miss the days of Banjo Kazooie, DK64 or Ocarina of Time. Simple, yet masterly crafted games… which their devs were proud of.

  4. On the Xbox thing that only works as far as being able to play free to play games on the Internet, if you were allowed to access the Internet for free. It’s still not free to play a free to play game on the Internet if you’re making me pay to access the Internet to play the free to play a game. It’s just common sense here with these executives. If I get a PlayStation, I can access the Internet for free. If I get a PC, I can access the Internet for free. If I get an Xbox, I can access the Internet if I pay Xbox to access the Internet that I’m already paying to have access to. It doesn’t make any fucking sense. I’ve bought your platform, I also have bought my own Internet, why are you making me pay extra to access my own damn Internet that I bought and I am paying for on a monthly subscription as is. Could you be any more fucking greedy?

  5. This double price, then scrapping is nothing but theater from Microsoft. They will most likely introduce a 15-25% increase, and people will say "Durrrr, 'dats much better 'dan double; what a consumer-friendly company, durrrr!!", thus welcoming their rip-off.

  6. I'm with legacy with that intro bring on the rage bring on the vinegar I'm sick of all this BS these idiots keep destroying my favorite hobby. Hopfuly all this forcing always online, loot box, rushing out games, cutting content and kissing sjw ass will led to some smaller and good developers and publishes to rise up and get support to make good games.

  7. I honestly think that the overall gameplay experience of cyberpunk (minus the bugs and issues obviously) is just pretty bland. Ita just your basic drive here, listen to a small briefing, shoot the guys, go get paid. There's not even interactivity between you and the people hiring you for these jobs. Just a screen with a picture. The story felt really bland too and a little bit slapped together. I think the idea of the world is really cool and they did a pretty good job of realizing it, but that's honestly the only good thing about this game to me. Interested to hear other people's opinions on it

  8. I expected Cyberpunk be like Witcher 1. Many problems and half-done in some aspects but with interesting story and characters. I will wait till end of the year to see how much CDPR improve game. If No Man sky could rise so can Cberpunk 2077 😛

  9. I like how these companies f-up peoples lives, ruin francises and fun, and then wonder why the f we A. Hate them B. compare them to the devil(and dont care how it f-up their lifes).
Serious become an actor or footbal player you(the companies and bosses of them not legacy) would fit right in.
Honestly i hope the whole triple A industry falls and any good game company should stay away from that designation if it can.
    Anti Gamers
Anti Developers(as in QA, Programmers, etc all the little guys pretty much)

  10. Spiders one upping cdpr?! I am fan of spiders work, their heart is in the right place but in their games stumble technically, and they fail to create truly captivating IP so far. Their last game was good, but it didn't sold that well and they stopped supporting it under a year. Do your research.
