  1. I'm thankful for you doing this because I would never experience it otherwise. Could never do this to my girl. Doesn't matter that she lied to me, she did what she had to do to escape her hostage situation.

I'm actually proud of the little bird for fighting to the bitter end not to go back to her cage

  2. *PL ENDING SPOILERS*

This was the ending I got with my second play through, and I honestly prefer it to my first choice, which was sending Songbird to the moon.
At the end of the day, I think Songbird is just like V in that no matter what she does, she is screwed. The mercy killing V can give So Mi in this ending is the only true peace she will find in this life.
Going to the moon? Sounded nice at first, but once I figured out that her sponsor is Mr Blue Eyes, I lost all faith that a happy ending was waiting for her there. More likely than not, she will "survive," but instead of being a slave to the NUSA, she will now be at the mercy of Night Corp. And seeing what they did to Jeff Peralez and his wife, nothing good can be waiting for So Mi on the moon. The "Killer Moon" ending gives hope, but I believe it's a false hope. If you're looking for a happy ending, wrong city, wrong people.

    Edit
Songbird: I never meant to hurt you V
Those of us who have played the "Killing Moon" ending know that's a lie. While she doesn't hurt V directly (and in many instances helps V), she does hurt them through her fake offer of help by wasting V's time while the Relic is eating away at what little remains of V's "soul." That's always something that rubbed me the wrong way with Songbird's character. CD Projekt clearly wants us to see So Mi as a tragic character that is to be sympathized with. And while I do recognize that she is ultimately a VICTIM of Militech and Myer's scheming, its lines like this that make me view her more as a manipulator and hypocrite than some tragic heroine. With that being said, I guess a more charitable view of So Mi's actions could be that she is conflicted between her desire to live versus not wanting to hurt others in the process.

  3. Testing an entirely new build was the right choice, I'm glad you didn't skip playing as a netrunner. I was not expecting that build to work so well against MaxTac either! I for one was running out of RAM very fast against these guys. I vaguely remember the netrunner build from when the game launched, some hacks were so good you could wipe out an entire building before they'd even locate you. There was also a sniper build that could deal 200-300k damage even through walls… xD

  4. I like this ending more than the others. I always push Reed to understand it's not about him. That to save her, to free her, he had to let go. I think in some alternative dialogues he kind of gets it.
Somi and Reed are two sides of the same coin. One doing everything to survive and the other anything to be the savior. But at what cost? Both blindsided by their own mistakes and traumas and can not see when to stop. Such good writing man.

  5. HE FOUND THE CANTO, FUCK YEAH.

MAPO CRAFT THAT SHIT AND GET TO HACKIN'

Seriously though, if this isn't all prerecorded and you happen to read this before the next session, consider using that cyberdeck for one of the endings, it would be a sick way to go out.
Unless you already did without my comment, in which case, carry on with delivering endless horrors from beyond the blackwall to your enemies.

Edit: ok fuck yeah, guess I should've just watched to the end lol

  6. If you wanna really use the Canto to its fullest ability, queue up to 3 tier 2 reboot optics before blackwall gateway to make it upload way faster, and place it on multiple targets before the first one uploads, it will spread exponentially fast and wipe out entire groups in seconds.

Also, use cyberware malfunction and synapse burnout to extend overclock, which you'll really want to have active during blackwall gateway uploads.
