  1. Tonally, this is certainly the most hopeful and nice ending and I can see why many people like this ending the most. But for me, there is just something that feels off about sacrificing Saul, Bob, Teddy and who knows how many unnamed Aldecados in order just to give V a few months more to live. As for V's chanses, If even Arasaka couldnt help and the FIA could only help because of the Cynosure mainframe, it feels like its very unlikely any of Panams contacts in the badlands/Arizona could ever help V. I'd rather give the body to Johnny if I'm honest.

  2. Personally I find it hard to justify this ending over the others, it's an interesting to experience, but the loss of life is too high for V to survive an extra 6 months.

  3. This is my second favorite ending of this game, even without romancing Panam.
Feels amazing to leave Night City to seek new opportunities.

It's a city of great opportunities, that probably still leave you dead, or alive with big regrets. Personally wouldn't stand being there for my whole life.

As a player we sure know that V is capable to solo whole Arasaka Tower, but imagining that I'm V that doesn't know for sure that going alone is better than with someone else, it makes it easier to go for other endings.

It's a shame that some people have to die, but I appreciate their willingness to help even in a dire situation. So living your last 6 months with people you can trust is very nice imo.

And who knows, maybe some nomad ripper is able to do better than Langley surgeons or Arasaka space doctors 😂

  4. This is my favourite ending. When Judy appeared at the waypoint, I burst into tears. It's painful, there's a lot of sacrificed people in this one, but V leaves with a family. Even if they dn't live much longer, it's 6 months of relative peace surrounded by people who care about them. That's enough for me to end V's story.

  5. My favorite ending. It feels the most hopeful. The Phantom Liberty proves that V's condition is curable, albeit with horrible side-effects. Who knows, maybe they will be able to figure it out in this ending too. Even if V has to lose all her combat ability, she will still be surrounded by families and not end up a faceless NPC.

  6. Not only is this ending the most hopeful, but I think it completes the best character arc for V: From being obsessed with the empty promises of fame and legend that NC offers to finding real love and friendship by leaving.

  7. I haven't watched the full playthrough cause I haven't had time and haven't played Phantom Liberty yet anyway, wanna do that first but I did watch this one cause it's the ending I consider my real one. I played a lady corpo V romancing Judy as well, for me this felt like V realising both the corporate lifestyle and the attempt at being a "legend" was meaningless and coming to love having a family like the Aldecados, getting the opportunity to leave, maybe have a chance, however remote for the cure and take Judy with her? Perfect.

I really like the romances in the game as an aside, the characters have defined orientations rather than just being into you the player no matter what, playersexual is the term I've seen for when that's the case. Which can be handled ok in some games but sometimes stretches credulity a bit when you have "good" characters being totally interested in you even if you're playing as a genocidal murderer cause the devs are scared of having conflicts in a party and players being locked out of their preferred romance, etc.

Stuff like River shooting his shot and turning him down, not in a harsh way, just in a way that feels quite like a real interaction, Panam turning you down as a lady cause she either doesn't swing that way or she genuinely doesn't wanna mess up what she sees as more meaningful than that, etc.

  8. Assult on 'Saka Tower with Rougue it's the same edning that is the full solo assult on Tower, exept 1 detail. So you really got 1 ending left – leave body to Johnny (which you can do in ANY variants of assult on Tower).

  9. This is my favourite ending, it feels the most hopeful and the most "freeing" with V choosing to give up on dreams of fame and fortune and instead choose to live a happy life among a new family, and without going on a massive explanation it IS possible for the nomads to save V, all V needs is a new body that won't reject their engram, and there are known "techno-mancer" nomad clans with the knowhow and connections to get that done.
This knowledge combined with Misty's very positive tarot reading during the credits make me think this is the intention, especially because Misty hasn't missed with her tarot readings throughout the story.

  10. If you do the nomad start, and check the hatch on the back of your car, you'll see a sticker with a sort of 80s aesthetic that looks just like that ziggurat with the green beam of light rising out of its top that you approach after entering Mikoshi.

  11. I'm kinda sad this playthrough has to end eventually, once again a very entertaining series to watch from you. Just out of curiosity, do you plan on finding all the hidden secrets the game has? You've noticed the jacket from Edgerunners, but did you know there is more to find from the show? There are also a few decisions in the game that don't seem like much, but actually change how things unfold later on (I'm vague on purpose, just to avoid spoilers in case you want to find them on your own). Not to mention easter eggs! The perfect occasion to restart with male V, as a street kid, on hardcore difficulty, no warping, and with fists only… 😛

  12. Finally Mapo says something I can agree with. Yup, bushes do look great when they are hit by the lighting in this game. There… I said something positive about this game. Good looking bushes and sunsets…. although it is supposed to be a Cyberpunk world, there are not supposed to be beautiful sunsets!!, this game sucks!…. ah fu*** I failed again.
