Time Stamps are all wrong 💀
This is way too long, anyone know what the timestamp is (if) he mentions Coil Whine with this unit?
The GPU temps of the G18 look much higher in the comparison video with the M16 when compared to this video with the Scar. Any idea why?
JB I can’t speak about the G18 with the 4090 , but I can speak about the GPU that’s in the g18 that I bought from Best Buy with the 4080 . Reviewers aren’t and can’t play games for an hour or two , the temps on mine were horrible , thermal throttling and the wattage pull was way up and down . I ended up with the m16 Alienware with the 4080 . Reason behind that Alienware nailed it with two things one the thermal performance , two the TDP out of the box . The G18 was getting way to hot about 95 degrees for the cpu and about 87 to 90 on the GPU and that’s with a cooling pad . I’m not by any means trying to understate nor talk crap about ASUS but the g18 has serious issues . Also from the ASUS , msi , and Alienware that I have tried and returned I would get the m16 . Also the screen on the g18 has a lot of bleed .
If you lower the cpu watt to 45w does the temps gonna decrease ?
