In this video I go through my ranking for all Quickhack’s in Cyberpunk 2077. Starting with the most pointless, worst of the worst, and going all the way to the utterly indispensable, ascension to godhood, type quickhack’s which CDPR have blessed us with in this game.

I also break down some of the best location’s to acquire quickhack’s! Here is the list as mentioned in the video, of the locations wherein to acquire different Quickhack tiers:

  3. I found Memory Wipe to be very useful for dealing with the Cyberpsycho missions for Regina. If you end up alerting the psycho, reboot optics, memory wipe, and Optical Camo, is a great way to chill them out long enough for you to sneak up behind them and give them a non-lethal cuddle. I actually used RO/MW on that one cyberpsycho that is perched on that scaffolding? The one that is a Tyger Claw, and is scripted to drop down and kill that one guy. You are basically forced to come at him head on (i tried the other direction and he bugged out, didn't trigger the scripted drop attack), but it almost guarantees he will agro you and go into open combat. Which sucks because if you do that way, at about 60%hp, he bamfs away and now starts fighting in a big area with several other Tyger Claws as support. So you end up in a massive fire fight, in public, and it's a mess
But I just hung back a bit, let him drop down, kill that one guy he always kills. Hit him with RO, then Memory Wipe, popped my invisibility, and sprinted in, slid in behind him, gave him a sleepy hug, and boom, no phase 2 of that fight. Super handy as that one mission gave me a lot of trouble. But that method let you drop him in about 15 seconds. No muss, no fuss.

  4. I actually hate Sonic Shock for a stealthrunner build. The legendary passive effect, that cuts them off from the network, instantly alerts them that they are being hacked, and they scream out "we got hostiles!" and now the whole area is at Alert lvl 2.

  5. The best quickhack is the one best suited to your needs and playstyle (coughpingcough)
Also Sonic Shock and Memory Wipe go great together. As Sonic Shock has a passive ability where if you have it any enemy under the effect of a quick hack can't snitch to their chooms.
Now read what Memory Wipe says, particularly the part where it says it effects the whole squad.

With these two together, you'll be able to use memory wipe and not have them return to being angy. Oh, and if you hit them with that jedi mind trick make sure you stay out of sight once you hit them with it, just because they forgot WHY they were in combat, doesn't mean they won't take exception to you being there. That's probably what you were running into when trying the quickhack out.

  6. Short circuit is great but do know this, it don't really one short drones which is what I noticed, not sure if it's a bug or what. I mean since drones are machines & short circuit is more of a electric damage quickhack. Overheat seems to damage drones faster.

  7. Can someone explain the Legendary Passive for Short Circuit? I just don't get what it's saying. "crits with any weapon apply this QH's tier 1 effect" ? So…does that mean the first bullet point that says "Non-lethal" ? Why would that even be a thing you'd want? It only applies to that critical hit, but not every hit? Why wouldn't I just use the Optics Mod to actually make all my attacks non-lethal instead? Or the weapon mod to make that individual weapon's attacks non-lethal? Or am I misreading what it means when it says "Tier 1 effect" ? Please someone explain this to me
