  1. I like the ending. It's not my favorite, but depending on your roleplay, how immersed you are in V as a character, and your stance on what they think a happy end is, it can go both ways. The bittersweet/bad aspect regardless of stance is: yes, you sacrifice Johnny,

If you're in the "Blaze of Glory" camp, this is obviously not the end for you. V pussied out, went against the blaze of glory, anti corp ideal and just becomes the closest thing to a regular Joe.

If you think the best ending for V is a quiet life where they don't have to be a merc then this ending's bittersweet yet hopeful.

Idk. I can't say I lean either way. It's just a solid ending, even though it might not be my favorite.

  2. Tough endings to choose but the last one, not my cup of tea. I would send Songbird to the moon but I don't want to kill Sol. I wouldn't even hand over Songbird to Myers alive because she suffers long enough. My only choose is grant Songbird her deathwish so that she can rest peacefully and be free from the chaos. At least I kept Sol alive and as for my V's ending, she'll leave NC with Judy, Panam and the Aldecaldos happily ever after (the Relic obviously can still be fixed and saving V in the future).

  4. So, I ended up settling on "King of Wands" aka taking Songbird to the moon, sadly with Sol's death. To me personally, it felt like the most poetic wrap up V's story. Sol was a man of principal to the bitter end like Johnny, and as he quoted, like a corny scene from Bushido Ten we had a faceoff in the rain, which regrettably ended in his death… like Johnny. There was never a way to convince Solomon in allowing Songbird to be free and not a weapon for the President. V will have to live with that regret but will look back with hope that Songbird can finally be free, and that Solomon can finally rest, no longer a man at war. From there, Alex and V have a last discussion, V giving Alex his agent coin for leverage in her quiet retirement and perhaps, a true goodbye for V to the FIA. V still goes on to rely on Panam and the Aldacados, (male v – romanced Panam) to reach Mikoshi. He opts to fight for what life he has left, leaving Night City and this life behind, whereas Johnny might have a chance beyond the Blackwall with ALT at his side. A bittersweet end, as V… like Songbird, despite all his mistakes and the lives he took, is willing to grasp on the hope of an unknown future away from Night City. Living each day to the fullest. Like Songbird, like Panam, like Judy, simply choosing to let go and fly free into the bittersweet unknown.

It's not a perfect ending, but perhaps, a hopeful melancholic one that ties the themes of Phantom Liberty nicely with the main story.

  5. Every video that shows the new ending for the game everyone has a bad relationship with Johnny but if you have a good one that final scene is so much more beautiful

  6. "i'm sorry V, you can't use combat implants anymore." me playing the game with the basic implants vic gave me at the start of the game and the rippler cyberdeck that isn't an implant. "ummm…..ok."

  7. There is no way around it songbirds death was a big disappointment do to the fact that so many players were hoping to have the option to romance her but that hope was shattered with this ending so once again I find myself ignoring another story just to enjoy the good gameplay

  8. God even if you do the other normal endings you will die and your friends will suffer regardless… just cause you aint there its like so many layers of bad endings in the cyberpunk universe… thought i got a bad ending sending song to the moon…may have been a better one…heres hoping v could adjust but maybe it aint in his personality
