Adam Smasher VS Adam Smashed
i will never understand why they made his fight so dumb
just like any game when our character is already at max level with legendary gears and thats the time we did the main quest, dont blame adam smasher for being weak vs the player… V is suppose to be OP… anime character are bit flashy, overly exaggerated and buff… imagine if V was the protoganist of that cyberpunk edgerunner, how strong his/her Anime version well be… its probably closer to an Ultra Instinct Brolly

Adam smaher should be like skill base boss but not a hp boss,the boss fight should be like ultrakill v2 fight.

Honestly they shouldve just made smasher have a fuck ton of different animations an make him use that sandi like crazy making just jump all over the place shooting rockets an guns at you an if you got to close he'd punch your ass across the room adam smasher was literally a menace in the lore he shouldve had a fight that was just crazy compared to anything else in the game (lol also just make it so you cant crit him for cheese)

Considering the fact that picking a fight with Smasher in the tabletops is a death sentence, Edgrunners nails him. I feel like if the 2077 fight (and the skill scaling/AI in general) had more time in the oven, he would've been a great bossfight.
Hell, I had more trouble fighting the generic guards than I did Smasher.

my biggest let down with CP77 was we couldn't become someone like adam smasher. our mods start affecting our outward appearance to the point we're barely human. I thought it might be a theme, "how much of your humanity are you willing to toss for power" but it probably would have made the story kinda weird I guess.

oh i get it adam smasher in the anime is a badass but in game mutafuka is ded
The one complaint I have about edgerunners is the power level scaling.
You can't in one scene say "How can we stop David???" "We can't…."
And in the next scene have Smasher just wipe the floor with him.
Either poorly explained how strong Smasher is or bad power leveling, because we were told like 6 times that david's exo-skeleton is the most powerful thing in that world.

Adam Smasher was not as broken in Cyberpunk 2077. In Edgerunners, David should have been able to fuck him up. That was a bullshit fight, Should have been a close match!
I honestly can't tell if I liked this show because of my time sent in CyberPunk, or if it's good. But thing I know, Cyberpunks sound track is amazing.
I’ve only watched the first two episodes and I must say this might be my favorite Netflix anime. I’m glad that it’s beautiful traditionally animated, it’s dialogue feels mostly natural, it isn’t pandering, and it respects the source material enough not to unnecessarily change it.
They should play it off as a failed smasher clone in a story update
