We here
There are no pointless quests in this game. Some that seem small or less substantial has a second, third or even fourth part to the questline
Very meaty episode, so much content that I was waiting for you to get to. I am in bliss because of watching you realize how game is keep upping it's storytelling quality, one amazing mission after another. Appreciate Slider much more now, he shows you other side of Voodoo Boys, and their perspective on what Blackwall means to humanity. And how you can be burned by being too close to it. So excited for you to continue PL story and do gigs for Mr Hands, and for stuff that awaits you in the base game too, of course.
"Take it easy, Slider" indeed 😢 Slider's so cool. "You 'ave to be cracked in the first place to want to stick your 𝘨𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘵 in a live wire outlet.” That VA! That accent! Plus The Blackwall visual effects, the time dilation, my girl So Mi, and my boy Johnny all together for an incredible scene. Good shit. Seeing a certain side of Reed here too!
Can't wait for more PL. We're still just getting started! 🔥
That cyber psycho would have been an awesome fight. I feel like just like you said last ep. the stealthy way can be an option, but it's usually less interesting. 46:00 An epic fight is what usually makes these cyberpsycho quest so memorable.
Slider is dope. But then there was Reed…. RIP! First red flag of Reed
The question is why do you know so much stuff about the rightwinger Elon 😂
Love the Chippin' In quest, getting to see how Johnny uses his time in control of V's body. Can't say I blame him for wanting to have a bit of fun after so long being trapped as a figment of someone's imagination.
24:05 Smack My Chip Up!
Juicy episode. Heartily recommend making a hard save before the next Rogue mission.
Mapo: *Takes out a bunch of perk points in previous episode*
Mapo: "Feels like my V is lagging behind a bit."
I adore the Voodoo Boys. Their theme and also the entire idea of the Blackwall, such interesting parts of this world
19:29 tsk tsk Mapo, you should know by now there are no “pointless quests” in this game 😉
I actually had no idea Lizzy was voiced by Grimes until I saw this and I’m glad I didn’t cuz I didn’t have any negative preconceived notions about what to expect from the quest (like “oh is this just a shoehorned Grimes cameo?” never crossed my mind obv lol) so the rest of the quest was a pleasant surprise 🙂
Yeah, Grimes' voice is kinda annoying, and her acting is horrible. Some of her songs featured on the in-game radio stations are pretty good though, imo.
Damn whoever built lizzie's chrome jaw did a bad job cause she has a lisp lmao
What's with the beef with voice actress? Sounds alright like any other?
Good, you're doing the Lizzy Wizzy quest before continuing PL, I love that you almost dismissed it as just a throwaway Grimes cameo quest, when it's much more than that, CDPR may half ass a lot of things, but not their quest design.
You missed a lot of context there. You should have talked to her bf before calling her.
Man, you gotta watch the Phantom Liberty cinematic trailer, it gives some context to Reed & Songbird's relationship, he even mentions those tacos.
fun fact: grimes did some music and song for cyberpunk 2077 and also idris elba. idris is also dj in real life and he made one banger music in the game
You should have just talked to the Voodoo boys.
perfect timing… she wants Monaco… while it's Monaco GP this weekend
Grimes as Lizzy is infamous but I guess you have an amateur VA and it's kinda hard to pull off being emotionally detached through chroming and a bit schizo at the same time. Wouldn't there be a VA director similar to when filming a scene who would supervise the take until it's ok?
I do like the quest though you really get a slice of how the world works like for a corpo entertainment star, dark that is.
So many people just call Lizzy straight away after getting the data. Fair enough the objective literally tells you to do that. However, no one ever thinks to confront Liam before calling Lizzy to get his take on the whole situation. Not like it's a massive thing but not all interactions are signposted. Otherwise fun episode.
Man, I'm so glad you're having fun. But to watch someone play this amazing game without being able to listen to the actual soundtrack hurts my soul. That whole scene when Johnny takes control while the actual banger is in the background is pure adrenaline! Youtube rules suck.
johnny is also tequila. V and johnny are becoming one.
I love your cyberpunk my download is almost done 🎉
What a cool scene with slider.. blackwall, creepy and scary.
ive never had that johnny club scene without 2 people sitting inside eachother. its so funny that it still happens every single time haha. good ol cyberbugs. i love this game regardless
There actually is a stealth option for the Voodoo Boys raid. You just stepped on their security.
People can say whatever they want about the release of Cyberpunk 2077 and its bugs, but one thing they didn't F up are the moods and sceneries, in both the main questline and side quests. The lighting, music, characters and their (hidden) motives, everything was there on day one. They simply nailed it IMHO, as far as cyberpunk games go it would be a mistake to consider this one a failure, just because of how it failed its launch. Every situation is unique, and you can clearly feel you're in a dystopian world where any day can be your last. V is taking considerable risks just because (s)he feels like the clock is ticking, and it leads to intense moments. The devs have done a great job setting up the mood for each of them.
In Johnny's defense, imagine having the chance to have a body back forever…and not taking it. I do think it proves that he truly cares about V. In his own Johnny way.
