The Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod might be the best way to showcase the PSVR2 PC VR adapter because this game looks INCREDIBLE on that gorgeous OLED display! Everyone wanted an official PSVR2 Cyberpunk 2077 VR release but it never materialised, however we can now technically play Cyberpunk 2077 in VR on a PSVR2 thanks to the new PC VR adapter and honestly it’s a beautiful experience if you take the time to set it up properly for your PC. Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way since its rocky launch and it’s now one of the best open world gaming experiences ever made, with a living breathing sci-fi open world that begs to be explored in virtual reality, however we sadly never got an official VR Cyberpunk 2077 release so we have to use the unofficial VR mod created by Luke Ross (you can sign up to the Patreon and gain access here: https://www.patreon.com/realvr). Hang on – this PSVR2 gadget for the PC plays flatscreen steam games in VR? Or do you need to use the UEVR mod with the PSVR2 headset? Confused.
The video also doesnt show the horrific mura of the psvr2 oled screen it was unplayable once you notice it.

I'm curious, have you tried enabling path tracing in Cyberpunk in VR? I doubt it would run well at all, but I wonder if it at least works, just with very low fps?

Google cardboard still exists, there's also those not using pcvr. The oled difference may still be lost
I think the most performance issues people are facing when switching from quest to psvr2 on pc is because steamvr has the "100%" resolution set to like 3500×3500 per eye which is way above the native res of the headset. Also for some reason i cannot get psvr2 to look nearly as sharp as on ps5 in some games (like red matter 2 or synapse) even when heavily supersampled. I hope they make some fixes. Otherwise its great.
I am convinced that some Quest 3 owners actually think that compression streaming artifacts are a bonus feature of their headsets, its like the Pancake lenses were placed their to highlight all of the streaming artifacts and make them more visible.
If only Meta had given the Quest 3 a displayport for lossless video streaming and LCDs with local dimming like the LCDs on the Quest-Pro, it might have been able to compete with the PSVR2.
If Meta ever produced a PCVR headset like the PSVR2 I would estimate the price would be similar to the Quest Pro at $1500, so well done Sony you gave PCVR gamers just what they wanted and at a bargain price.

This game is disgusting. Now I see where all our crime and drive by shootings come from in Chicago by teens possibly playing this stupid game. It should be banned. Again, very disgusting type of game play. This is exactly what is happening in Chicago everyday and reported on the news.

I've started to play this game on 27inch FHD, VA panel which already looked nice but then I switched to 32inch G8 Oled display. I cant get enough of this game when playing on an Oled screen. It feels like it has been made for exact this type of panel
The picture is shaking insanely… I have the same problem on Atomic Heart with UE5 (via UEVR).
It's unplayable in my case, maybe walking for a while it will be ok, but nothing more unfortunately :/
Eveyrtime you talk the headset bounces and it is disorienting maybe you should voice over the gameplay.
